They where good time the hot lap challenge on FRS made me a better race car driver
If I remember correctly you just beat me by a couple of points in the season standings

Certainly helped me improve a lot, especially with the constant competition. And yeah, I just looked it up, my 89 points to your 87 at the end of season 1 👍.

New time: 1:59.553

I think I'll leave it at that although I'm not happy with a couple of corners, hopefully the urge to start lapping again isn't too strong . Recorded the lap through the Xbox DVR but it takes a while to show up on there, especially if they're longer than 30 second clips.

My 3 best laps before this: 59.770, 59.750, 59.710 and at some point after the 710 I hit a 59.730 .

I haven't touched the game in a week, and I'm not a fan of the stock Golf. Best I managed after a half dozen laps was a 2:01.815. I see maybe a half second out there for me, but no more!

@ZDUPH Looks like @waboo 's updated time got lost in the middle of all the posts. I noticed he just edited his post instead of making a new one. Would it be better for you if we make new posts instead of editing past ones when we improve our own times? Perhaps in bold too?

I managed 4 laps, 2.05.509 and I'm spent, off for a surf I'll try again later.

Update, less coffee today and a 2.02.95, still clumsy but getting there.

@ZDUPH I'm kind of torn on what kind of combo to give you, but I guess I will give you one I enjoyed in a private race a while back.

The combo will be the 2007 Ferrari 430 Scuderia at Le Mans Bugatti circuit, in the rain . The car handles nicely even in the rain, and if anyone's still having nightmares about how it handled in the demo, it feels a lot easier to drive now. Also I usually hate this track so to find a combo I actually enjoyed on it was nice.

I was a bit skeptical about the car and track combo but after doing some laps it is really fun and the Ferrari is very stable on a wet track

Sounds like a fun time!! I kind of like this track, it's not very good for online though because there's some major corner cutting goes on.

When it comes up online I hit Y to spectate the race and go do anything else I can find to do, it's bad enough with all the cutting but apart from that I find the layout really uninspiring. I did try out this combo in the dry but could barely manage a lap before thinking it would be somewhat more interesting in the rain, it helps that the puddles aren't too intrusive on this track either.

I had a 10 lap attempt at this earlier, there's at least another half second out there for me but a 1:53.952 will do for now. You can probably tell some of the areas I lost time by going wide, taking fast-in-slow-out lines etc.

I know there is more time to be gained but in the rain it is hard to get most of the corners right I seem to always do 1 great corner only to mess up the next corner

I have no idea how this was faster, the lap just felt so sloppy so I'm baffled. I will resist the urge to do some racing and instead focus on assignments this week... I hope .

I'll set a time at some point before the end, managed to resist the urge to play so far, but I have a tournament to practice for tomorrow so will squeeze some hot lap time in before it starts .

This car is kind of a hand full for me on this track. I just ran about 12 laps, about half of them I ran off the track on. So far I got up to 58.184. 👍

Me and breaks from Forza don't work too well, whereas before I was very much driving with predictions of what the car will do, now I'm driving with reactions to what it's done. Still ended up with a nice time but I don't feel connected to the car at all, set on lap 3 somehow (55.695) and then spent the next 17 laps making a mess of it .

May still give this one another go, depending on how much free time I have.

Sorry for not staying on time with updating the times guys. Been very busy lately with my new overnight job, and the changing sleep schedule that accompanies it. I'll try and stay on top of it, but no promises.

I just ran about 20 more laps and improved my time to 56.989. This car doesn't like the edges of the track so well. If you get off at all it likes to pull you all the way off.
