Its 12.02am here. Sorry mate, i wont be able to judge you in 2 hours, school tmoz (today, whatever) lol... The other competitor watching to verify is a good idea though. It's wierd that people went to you when your'e listed as a part time judge. It's got me real confused.. Good luck with your runs pal. Sorry for the screw around :)

I did think that after posting. I'll get one of the guys to come and 'verify' for me. I'll try and get one of the current top qualifiers if possible just to keep it all nice and above board. :)

Im not doing the tourney but as i live in ireland im the same timezone. SAi knows me and my psn is powellx234. I met you in a lobbyba couple of weeks ago, i was the guy saying i love you lol.

Yup i witnessed TTCH's run.. what a bloody good run it was!.

Some people obviously roam the forums looking for somewhere to make a comment that will spark a reaction.....PING
 
Ok TTCH. I have good news & bad news. The good news, i have got your e-mail and copied your replay to the USB. The bad, i hear you had a good run. This may cause turmoil for those with a score of 16 as they teeter on the edge of in and out... Bracket may not be up until later in the week...

EDIT: Ok, i've watched your runs. Holy F! Aswesome runs. #1 was nearly perfect but you had to correct going into the sweeper. This took a 19 to an 18. Lucky for you, run #2 was flawless (apart from the front wheels very barely touching the grass once) a definite score of 19!
Props on using the '99 viper, nice ride!

It is however, as i feared. Your great run has pushed the people with a score of 16 onto the edge of in and out. A 17 person bracket isn't possible... I'm not sure what to do :confused:

EDIT #2: I've thought up an idea, but i don't think you guys will like it very much. As their is 17 people in the running, one 3 way match with one winner would make the rest work out normally. While this will be tricky to organise, tricky to run and even trickier to judge, it is my only option if we want to start the competition by the end of this week. The 3 way participants would be drawn randomly from the 5 people drawing on 16th. The other two will meet one of the top qualifiers in the super 16 round.

Opinions please!

EDIT #3: I accidently deleted the OP while adding TTCH to the qualifying list :(... I am working on a new one, that is slowly getting there but some information may be missing for a while

Do you have the 'second run' scores for the guys on 16 points? You can go to those as a decider :)


In real life comps it works like this:
Pos------Name---------Best run--------2nd score
1st------XXXX----------95pts-----------94pts
2nd------YYYY----------95pts-----------90pts
3rd------ZZZZ----------95pts-----------88pts

Even though it will means take more time, but the only way to do this is to have the five 16s do the qualify one more time, each person can only do 1 lap. 3 way battle is not gonna work.

If the scores aren't available from the second runs then this is theonly other way to do it :)

or you can sum up the score of the 2 runs they just did. I don't know if they are fine with that though.

That's the same as my method ;) LOL
Since they all scored 16 in the first run, it's just down to what they scored on the second run, so it's still just going to the second run scores.

Aaagghh! I'm going to have to re download and watch them all... Oh well, shouldn't take too long. I'll start doing this in about 8 hours :)
 
i suspected this long time ago........numerous drivers scored the same points.....
qualifying needs a more refined system to separate the smallest differences

when the scores were first posted, i had discussed with mrdino regarding runs scored the same points and show lack of differences.

unfortunately...no actions were takened
 
Yea, i was planning on changing it to 50 as i knew this was a possibility. I'm regretting that i didn't. This would have been extremely unlikely if it was changed, but unfortunately, it's too late to change now...
As said by Kaizar there is only two options. Reruns, or re watching runs. Unfortunately i cleared my downloads a while back, meaning i might be missing a couple runs... Hopefully i have all the 16 point ones somewhere :scared:

Please PM the name and PSN of my opponent , i cant see the bracket it says "unregistered domain go to imag.... to register" :S
 
That's odd, kingb. I use image shack and have never heard of anything like this before.. But yes, you are against cervatoz :)
