About 36 have had their runs i think. More people are yet to qualify, may i remind them that at the end of this weekend qualifying for tournament #2 is over.
 
Guys check out this Vid i made right before the update was released as a farewell for online gaming :( since i am yet unable to download the update ... it reached 100% but was a corrupted file and it ruined the 1.05 update so now i have to download the 608mb update then the new 301mb one :(
Leave comments and likes ... i know this is off topic but this update should be downloadable via PC !:( the PSN keeps disconneting :S
 
i'd vote for a top 16 bracket. it would be no use trying to tandem with nearly everyone, because i dont trust the tandeming capabilities of people scoring 10/20 on Solo runs.

Me too ... i hate loosing for 10-0 because the one in front is too slow or not driving on the right line specialy on such a track ...
 
Ya but if you guys were in my spot you wouldn't say that. Also anyone who has driven with me knows I can tandem with the best of them... My 12 score was opps my bad but you all know I can drive... I say 32.
 
so even though this went up to 32 ppl, the score of 15 still doesnt qualify? :'( i say a score of 15 and above can surely tandem! Well not because it just fits well for me, but just saying:D ! No really 15 should qualify! Let me rip those tandems!
 
Yea, even people with a score of 13 ;) can tandem pretty awesome. I would like very much to have a score of 10 and over bracket but it would be pretty tricky to organise as there is less then 32 people who have ran a score above ten. In my opinion, the high scoring people would most likely knock the others out in the round of 32 anyway. While they may not all be good battles, many lower scoring people may surprise us.
 
I understand what the top guys / Girl are saying. There not much point having people tandaming if they cant even get around the track by themselves. Dosnt have to be top 32. Could be top 26 or something or just leave it at top 16.

Everyone who didnt make the top 16 will vote for top 32, thats a no brainer lol

How do you propose to run top 26? The whole point of a bracket is that it's a choice of either 16 OR 32, there is nothing in between LOL it just doesn't work.
 
I say no to 32 bracket. What was the point of qualifiers if almost anyone can make it? leave it top 16. Unless you get 60+ people who actually tried to qualify then make it 32.
 
I say no to 32. First we doesn't have that many entries, no point to have qualify if we let almost all people in. Second, we all know people who score 10-20 here can tandem, but hey, even the top drivers such as Kumakubo in D1, if he didn't score a good enough score in qualify he will still need to go home early. Qualify is not there to eliminate amaturs, it is part of the competition, if you didn't make it that day, then that's it for you, or else what should the D1 judges do if there are like 7 people score 100 and other 9 drivers score 99.9-99.5? add more positions for the top dog who didn't make it? (2008 D1GP round 2 Fuji)

exactly this. and the time required to do a 32bracket will take forever. sooner or later we'll only be able to run 6 rounds a year cause every round takes 2months to finish
 
Makes sense guys. I'm surprised that no-one else seems to want to run their qualifier. If anyone does post here ASAP and i'll sort it out for you.

I would like a 26 person round, but it is simply impossible..:)
 
LOL, Yep because i choose what i think is right even if it disadvantages me. Id rather see the best of the best. My 2 runs just weren't good enough on the day.
 
You know I was thinking you should have top 16, I feel 32 is to many, and I know you would have people complaining if they got beat by someone that got only a 12 so run it top 16. I feel the same as Monstar-1, I just didn't bring it that day. Good luck to all.
 
OK, so the general agreement seems to be 16. No problem. No one else ran their qualifiers this weekend, so i'll have the bracket sorted out this time tomorow. Good luck to all involved :)
 
Kind of fed up that I ended up not being able to qualify because I had to judge the only session that I could make (wasting two hours of my night, followed by a further half hour transferring and emailing the replays to Dino) and then no-one could be bothered to spare 5 mins to judge me...............

Hence why I declined the three judging requests I received the last two days.
 
Mate, you right to go right now? I don't fully understand why the hell people are looking for you to judge them. You aren't even mentioned in the OP as far as i know. I'm sorry mate. Deeply sorry. As i said, if your'e right to go i can judge you right now...

Or, you could send me a replay of you doing a solo online run. While this may cause uproar, i know for a fact you wouldn't cheat and that you are a good guy who got unlucky. You are well known around here and i don't think anyone would expect deceit from you in qualifying

It's not that simple. He has some serious RL priorities (i know everyone else does aswell) that may have stopped him bieng able. I'm not making excuses, but i think he deserves a chance. After all he sent me at least 5 replays to judge and was unfortunate that all the people he judged left before he got a chance to run

I can't do right this second as it's midday sunday here and my bob has two hours left of a 9 hour Tsukuba that he was runnning overnight. Are you still going to be on it two hours?
If not, I don't like the idea of just sending a random replay, mainly because I'd be suspicious if someone else did it LOL so how about I get one of the other competitors (like Jimmy, SAi, Keisu etc) to 'verify' it was my one and only qualifying attempt by joining me in the 'race' and just waiting at the start line or following me round slowly or something, just to prove that it was indeed my one and only attempt. That way I can just run as soon as this stupid enduri finished and then email you the vid and you can judge as soon as you like?

P.S. I'm mentioned in the OP under 'part-time judges'. I don't mind helping out, but if no-one returns the favour it's kind of discouraging.

Yeah, two weekends! Some of us have to work during the week. And the sessions I attended, well, the first one, no judge turned up at all, and the second one, no judge turned up (again) and so I had to do the judging at the request of xUxiousx, and I can't very well judge myself can I?!

Plus, it's only sunday morning here, so I've only had yesterday so far this weekend....

Also, if you look over the previous pages, I made several requests for someone to judge me, and no reply was forthcoming, so don't start trying to get smart.
 
Its 12.02am here. Sorry mate, i wont be able to judge you in 2 hours, school tmoz (today, whatever) lol... The other competitor watching to verify is a good idea though. It's wierd that people went to you when your'e listed as a part time judge. It's got me real confused.. Good luck with your runs pal. Sorry for the screw around :)
