The staff group sent a video of dance routine that we are to practice for the Christmas performance.

As soon as I heard it playing my heart dropped. But then I realised it was a hip hop remix which doesn’t count. Feeling lucky now.

I didn't notice the musical christmas card trick was in the header post as I didn't think anyone would be ruthless enough to try that one in real life. How naive I was.
 
I never officially joined, but I'm out.
As I was walking home, a group of girls went in the opposite direction and had that song blasting from one of their phones. Only heard it for like 4 seconds but it was enough to recognize...

Jeez not even December and I'm already out.
When I was at my sister for dinner, my sister thought it would fun to go through some songs for the coming family weekend music quiz.

I guess I now have that weekend free to look for new family.

it's after thanksgiving so time for me to throw my hat in the ring, I managed to not get whammed, but my offhand desire to get some "just okay" scrambled eggs at the hospital cafeteria once killed my otherwise flawless Carey run last year.

Went looking for magnets yesterday and the shop was playing a very close cover. I thought I was out until I listened closely to realise it wasn’t the original.
 
I went to the store last night and did not hear any Mariah Carey songs, I went to Walgreens. So I'm still alive.
 
I know Radio 2 is virtually yesteryear's Radio 1 but I'm shocked AIWFCIY has attained classic golden oldie status. Perhaps I'm naive to think it still counts as the current thing because of its limpet-like presence in 2020s seasonal hit parades.
 
My nine year old son told me he wants to participate even though he said he was Carreyd last week. But said he wasn't official until after Thanksgiving 🤣 So after that he told me that he was going to beat me like last year🤣
