Damn... This is starting to bug me out now...

:ouch:

Tough…but you'd have to deal with it regardless, it just so happens that we're all so desperate to win that we instantly resorted to the cars which need a grey area.

And this issue is tougher still because you can't say "cars of subX kg go in this category", since the Alpine being entered pretty much shoves that idea out the window.

This is tricky…

Yeah... Hmm, who knows? Maybe I'll get into an accident when testing the car. lol

IT'S NOT A KEI CAR!
Yes it's small but it's not quite that small. It is classed as a sub-compact and not as a Micro car. Keep it up Onboy and I'll be forced to sick the "Pocket Monster" on you!:lol::crazy:

That…won't go well.

You underestimate my power... :mischievous:

 Nah, just kidding! I have another car is store.

EDIT: I'm thinking of changing the track for the 2nd episode. Maybe one of my Mt. Aso tracks Why?

One of the popular aspects of Touge Showdown is to use cars that can adapt to any situation. So, you'll have to make your cars suitable for any Touge track. You'll have to solely rely on your tune. Just an idea though.

Hmm…Mt. Aso has a habit of being absolutely horrid 70% of the time. Toscana tarmac is much friendlier, at least, from what I've seen in the Touge gatherings. Go bug Snake or some Touge dude for a track, then either use the track (in which case make it a short track), or go do the filming/testing on the twistiest bit.

Haha, don't worry about it. The track I'm talking about, I've been driving on it for about 2-3 months already! :)

Wait, have you submitted that to me? I can't recall.

I haven't sent you PM with the tune yet, but I did post it on previous pages. I am still rather unsure about putting transmission upgrade or LSD ... as I don't know how the car drive online yet( my GT5 stuck at 1.07 at the moment )
If anyone have driven it online, and it is indeed drivable - not trying to kill the driver, I'll finalize the tune and send you PM. Sorry if this is too much to ask.

I'll get it tuned up if I've got a spare. Sadly, rust buckets are hard to get a hold of, but I'll run it in a few races with NewDriver (we've been doing this for the week…had quite a few close races) when I do.

Ahh…so much to do…got to test Trackripper's Copen, then your car, then my second car just in case I give up on the balanced but slightly slow FC. Then back to said FC to see if I can get any more speed from it…it's a busy night.

Take your time Onboy, I'll be thankful if you can run it online, a lap or 2 would be great. If you have low mileage Alpine, the tune would yield more hp - could be over 200, just replace racing air filter with lower upgrade or back to stock. Now I am thinking Pontiac Vibe for backup or Opel Tigra :)

I am sharing my early tune for the 200hp class :

Alpine Renault A310 1600VE '73 ( real car has no ABS - tune with no ABS )

199hp, 864kg

Parts installed

weight reduction stage 1
window weight reduction

engine tuning stage 2
racing air filter
ecu
clutch : twin plate
flywheel sports
sports exhaust manifold
catalytic converter: sports

full custom suspension
F R
ride height : -20 -20
Spring Rate :7.0 9.0
Extension : 5 7
Compress : 6 5
Anti roll bar : 3 5
Camber : 2.5 1.5
Toe : 0.00 0.25

BB 10/7 or your own BB.

Test run with SH tire, no ABS or other aids, first split at Eiger : 32.xxx then goal 55.xxx ( rolling start offline ), not the best time yet and sliding around on the down hill section, still under tuning and this was done with GT5 1.07. Please try the tune if anyone interested :) see if it's works on 2.08:dopey:

Here is my entry. Tested for the first time with DS3 also. 2 years that i was using only like navigation tool only.
The car is very easy with it , Very good drift all the downhill.
With the wheel it's another story. A pilot car, fast ,fun, "educative":), Just don't brake too late. Not because of no ABS, you can almost forget that the car don't have, but if your driving input for a turn is not according to your speed, you'll see your back end passing over the tires.
Have a soft nice drive.

RIDE HEIGHT CHANGE TO 5/35
SANY0148.jpg

I'll change my ride height setting to 5/35 now.
Just to be safer Online downhill with Onboy123 in the rear bumper.... :scared::nervous: This guy is crazy !!

Hey, I needed to win. I lost too many times to XDes' shoebox, so my pride can't take losing to a 70s box as well. And I got overconfident with the new ride height settings, hence going a bit…over the top.

Alright got it.

I'm pretty unlucky today. My right index figer accidentally got cut due to my stupidity, and just a few hours later,a door slams right into the nail on the same finger. :ouch:

I won't be driving the MR-S for a while. :grumpy:

Ouch…do get better, the test is on Saturday.

Swap the settings so you can completely drive the car by using only the left analog stick! 💡 Then put the other side of the DS3 on a stand/tape it to your left hand and drive the car with your left thumb!

 Haha, don't worry, I'll recover when I wake up. lol

I'm off to bed! See ya guys!

OK, my EG6 is almost completed. Now just wondering, for the battles themselves... will passing be allowed or not? In the Best Motoring Touge Battles there is no passing allowed on the touge, so to keep the spirit of BMI, will we be following in their footsteps?

My Mini Cooper S '05 is ready.
Could you guys try it out and tell me what do you think of the tune.

Check a few post down for the tune.

Hehe, I ask the same too. There was though...Tsuchiya passing(exactly at the finish line) Taniguchi with the Arvou AP1 when Taniguchi overspeed on the last stretch with the GP Sports 180SX. But they agree for not passing so, most likely it'll not be passing.

Yeah, no passing. lol

Can't wait to try out your cars! (Even with a throbbing index finger )

EDIT: Great car Bobby!

Eh, I guess I can post my car now, since either way I won't be winning. Or even close, at that.

Give me a moment.
