In Hot Version Vol.84. When their doing Sector timing for the Touge Tournament, they do standing start but for battle, it's rolling start unless you cheat like Tsuchiya. No passing though.

Haha! Tsuchiya's rolling start always crack me up!

But when you think about it, his 86's low power really needed it. lol

Oh, BTW, Tak. Have you seen his current 86's state? 200HP 7-AGE Engine! Oh, and check out those Work Meister CR01's!

PD better model that for GT6. lol

Anyway,

It's time for a Progress Report!

Alright guys, I really thank you guys for your cooperation, despite the complications we've been through. Therefore, I would like to thank each and every one of you for your continuous support for this project. So far, I have already recieved a number of five great entries.

In regards to the rules and regulations, I will be constantly updating them, right before the next episode starts. So, that means, once we start production of the second episode, everything will be smooth-sailing by then.

Once again, thank you for supporting GTP's Best Motoring-Touge Showdown. 👍

Cool. Anyway, how's your tune going along?
The "Wicked Child" is currently pulling 0:58.3xx from a standing start online and smoking Onboy in the process.:D:lol:
Of course Onboy complained about my turning ABS off in the lobby and turned it back on...then promptly got left behind again.:gtpflag:

Praiano, I'm really surprised that you didn't give the 2002T a LSD…

LSD ???? in the '70 the only LSD available was the Janis Joplin sleep differently, with pink elephants and some good old rock'n roll. :dopey: Yeaaaaahhhhhhhh !!!!!
That's why, no LSD on this 2002, it's ok like this. :)

Can't wait to test it...

But of course, it must face my MR-S... :mischievous:

My Pug car pulling 0:58.2xx with me in online from standing start but with another hand here 👍 He give me the feeling in my car when he drive it and he record also good time 0:58.6xx .
Its not fast but Fun and safty car in corner.

I'll have to accept this loss…because there really is absolutely no way I can get the RX7 to keep up with such a formidable combination for an opponent. Even after completely rebuilding the gearbox in some hope for more acceleration, it was no use. I was really hoping for the biggest limiting factor (you) to slow it down, but even then, it wasn't enough.

Forget about keeping up with this, really, it's almost impossible at this level. 4WD time bomb hidden in a shoebox.

As long as the engine RPMs stay above 4500 on my car its fine goes like crazy. Get below that though and your grandmother moves faster.
Would blame it on the turbo, but regardless of which turbo used or no turbo at all the car just doesn't start making any power below 4 grand. of course without a turbo upgrade the car makes very little power even after its stock turbo kicks in.

@Onboy staying on track does improve lap times you know?:D
Worked on it some more after our last disconnect. Have a few more tweeks to try before I call it good. Mainly fine tuning the LSD a bit as the power oversteer can be a bit annoying.

Yeah! I knew about it for some time. I kind of miss the old Dori Dori Meshes and the old sponsors decals it had. :S

Yeah... Good times... 👍

I just have 1 question in mind though... What ever happened to the wing? They removed it?

Also, it really saddens me that Sakurai-san never had the time to complete it... :(

4WD !!! Who will enter this 4WD ? You .
Which car Onboy ?

Onboy123
No me, Desperado. Your C30 might touch it, but certainly not the Pug.

I'm thinking of that . The VOLVO C30 R-Design faster than the pug but i want to keep it for the second round

Probably removed for the 2007 TRD N2 AE86 since that was the TRD N2 version with a GT Wing. Sakurai's work was probably better then what he has right now in my opinion.

You're not dropping this idea after a single video, are you? It's on-going, right? If it is, then there's your second round.

No, of course I'm not dropping it! I thought he was assuming a second round for the 200 class.

EDIT: I'm not toosure if I'll be able to capture this on video. (My camera has issues right now.) So, is it fine if I provide you with "Epic photography" type instead? lol

@Onboy you'll be happy to note that my "Wicked Child" has lost a bit of its naughtyness due to me failing to pay close enough attention to the rules.:dunce:
Had to replace my wonderful FC transmission with a 5 speed close ratio since the stock car only had a 5 speed.:(

Mat123
I didn't even mention a second round.

I just saying that as i'm fixing it for the 280hp next round not for the 200hp because the power limit can't goes under 95,0% .
The car power limit is 90,0% to give 200hp its way to high to enter .

Has anyone tried my Alpine tune yet online ? I can't get online right now, so if anyone interested and have free time, please give it a try and let me know how the car drives. Thanks.

ABS or no ABS is up to the driver, I need feedback on the car as a whole ( power delivery, handling and response )

Wait, have you submitted that to me? I can't recall.

Ahh, okay.

I'll get it tuned up if I've got a spare. Sadly, rust buckets are hard to get a hold of, but I'll run it in a few races with NewDriver (we've been doing this for the week…had quite a few close races) when I do.

Ahh…so much to do…got to test Trackripper's Copen, then your car, then my second car just in case I give up on the balanced but slightly slow FC. Then back to said FC to see if I can get any more speed from it…it's a busy night.

Edit: @Mat, well, to be honest, though the Opel is effectively an Elise, if we're talking fair, I don't think XDesperado's 4WD Kei car is a fair choice either, but we just have to deal with it. Unless you're going to very quickly shove every car of that type in a separate class.

Damn... This is starting to bug me out now...
