Do we actually need my results now that Hei has some feedback put down? I was planning on dropping everything and making sure to absolutely get them posted tomorrow, but I'm not sure it's necessary now. I've been battling school and state finals, technical difficulties, and the loss of motivation to do anything from depression. GT5 is just getting too old and stale for me to want to come back to.

Anyway, I'm kind of disappointed with the feedback from Hei. These settings were the most drivable for me, with the best cornering of all the settings I've tried. It had a lot less understeer than my first base tune, that's for sure.

I wouldn't mind some more feedback on the EG6. The more the merrier! Helps me as a tuner, just to know what I did right an wrong. :)

I had not noticed that the third results were posted nary a day and 3 PAGES!!! ago

I'm well satisfied with the comments and final judgement on my car. I, too, felt the transmission sluggish, until I figured out its true shifting points and over-revving it in 3rd. By which way you won't really need 5th at any point but the main straight since fourth comes in at a higher rev and you're right in the meat of the power band. Anyway! I'm perfectly happy with the score of 98 as I'm now aware of where I need most improving. Thanks Hei!

Hei
If it was a replica, did you at least research the spring rates?

Yep, same exact rates that Monster entered.

GTP's Hot Version Touge Showdown is now well under way with its 3rd season, with 6 volumes already released and the 10th in progress.

We first started running it on Eiger's Short Track for Season 1 and moved onto Mt. Akina for Seasons 2 and 3. Even though everyone's focus is on the two upcoming volumes and their cars, I want to take this time to introduce two new venues. Doing so in hopes that you, the touge and tuning community, fall in love with these new courses - Snake Way and Volcanic Complex - and maybe they become featured in future episodes of GTP Hot Version.

Volcanic Complex (currently on share):

A 5.10Mile long Toscana(Tarmac) course with a diverse series of sections and memorable uphill and downhill sections. The first sector is mostly twisties with a generous amount of low-speed corners and hairpins coupled with key switchbacks and sweepers. Sector 2 is mostly uphill, save for two of the last three corners, and is comprised of short straightaways connected via 90-degree turns of varying altitude changes. Sector 3 is the shortest and arguably most complex sector. 8 or 10 corners (depending how you count them) that require the utmost level of precision to dominate. Sector 4 is a few long, medium speed corners with a downhill S before the final straight.

Snake Way:

In my own opinion, this is the most fun and exciting Mt. Also touge I've created to date. 1.90 miles over 4 sectors. This tiny track has it all! Low speed corners, high speed section, dramatic (not ludicrous) elevation changes and, best of all, it can be just as fun, if not more, in reverse. Fast, fun and challenging.

I'll be sharing Volcanic Complex for the rest of this week and will share Snake Way the next week, alternating between the two in weeks ahead.

I hope you guys like the tracks!
Happy Driving and see you on the touge!!

9 volumes already? I thought we only released 6 volumes (T200 S3 being the 7th).

Sounds interesting. I'll see if I have time to give those tracks a shot. 👍

So no CT230R's and Amuse Carbon R type cars that are super fast but drive like crap?

The cars you've mentioned are considered as 'tuner cars', since they've already been tuned by other tuning shops. We don't allow that here.

Please do refer to the first post in the first page.

I meant cars with excessive power to weight. I had a Ginetta G4 that I was going to enter.

Oh, in that case, it's best to refer to the "list of banned cars". It's in the first page. Any car not on that list will do fine. 👍

The Ginetta G4 is eligible... Depending whether it costs less than 120k CR,

6, 9, 25... They all look the same to me :lol;
That was a typo though, I'll correct that.

Yeah though, on your own time, take them for a stroll.

Do we have the final 4 cars yet???

Rob was asking if he should post his results, since Hei already posted his set. I told Rob it was no problem. I'm still awaiting a response.

But so far,

FWD: RJ's Acura RSX
RWD: Hei's 86 GT
AWD: krenkme's Celica
Mid-Engine: Me

Just don't tell Onboy if this becomes the final choices.:sly:

I meant to post about it yesterday but I got home so late that I just went to bed. I don't plan on posting any results because Hei already posted his; I don't feel that it's necessary. Sorry for the incredibly long wait for any responses but life just got in my way, I think I'll retire as tester for the rest of the season unless you guys need me. I'll have a lot more free time over the summer to make sure things get done if you guys need me, however.

We understand, Rob. No worries. Are you still going to be able to battle?

Hmm, when does school end over there? My vacation's just about to end on the 19th, this month. I'll probably be taking longer than usual after that date has passed.
