Hei
Fast? When its way behind every other car in the competition? It's running slower than half of the T200 entrants.

We are probably in different controllers inputs. Its my opinion about the feeling of the car, we haven't why to think the same. I need to test again all the T200's and the T300. It is also 217 hp only.

85 while other's are high? Talk about hating..there goes the same result like last class. Sheesh.

Yes, it's "hating".

Never mind the fact that your car is slower than my T200 FWD despite being a better version of the same car to start with and being more highly tuned.

No, I'm quite sure the problem is that you insist on entering "replicas" of cars that don't even come close to meeting regulations.

Thanks RJ.

Only 217 hp, when many cars from T200, 200 hp from the name, are seconds faster.

Alright, because there has been a bit of controversy over Tak's DC5, I decided to test a stock DC5R, Tak's DC5R, and RJ's DC5. All cars were equipped with Sports Hard grade tires.
Laptimes:
1. RJ's DC5 3.05.754
2. Tak's DC5R 3.07.094
3. Stock DC5R 3.08.557

Scores:
1.RJ's DC5 99
2. Stock DC5R 96
3. Tak's DC5R 95

The stock DC5 felt the best to me, followed by RJ's DC5, with Tak's DC5R just behind that. RJ's felt the most capable and powerful while Tak's felt the slowest because the exhaust made the stock gearing worse somehow (for this track anyway).

Controversy over. Tak made a DC5R slower than a T200 car. For the love of forced induction, stop making replica cars and entering them here. This is a tuning competition, where you show what you are capable of tuning, not copying. You're showing off someone else's tuning skills and not yours. That is not what this competition is about.

Guys, stop arguing.
Tak, these people will stop arguing about you if you attempt to make your car match up with the others. I don't care if you make a replica, as long as it's an approximately 300hp replica, just be competitive.

Hei
I actually got 3:07.013 with a stock DC5 lol (oil changed).

Mine was right out of the factory, with Sports Hards equipped to be fair.

Edit: I'd like to point out that I'm not trying to biased towards anyone. My view was as objective as I could make it.

I agree. If you make the car competitive there should be no complaints, no drama. If you enter something obviously lacking I'm not sure you should get to gripe about feedback, even if it is on the harsh side.

Not trying to argue. But Touge Showdown is about the feeling and the handling of the car, isn´t it?
Well, nevermind if you dislike my opinion. I respect all. Sure it´s a replica, and maybe he shouldn´t have entered it here, but... I repeat, I think it´s more about the feeling of the car and not all about the speed. (My opinion, hasn´t to be yours). Now call me a fanboy.

Except its not all about feeling like you keep claiming. It's a mixture of feeling, handling and speed.

Hehe, don´t get me wrong, its MY opinion, not forcing it to be yours as well. Other than that, I agree the handling is a very important part.

Whoa! What the hell happened? I leave for school, and this happens...

Anyway,

Someone understands I use a G27 too, the guy though is just a hater after some stuff happen during that tuning shootout. The founder is being a lazy person too when he stated in one of the messages that he would talk to him and stuff and didn't tell me at all that I needed to start talking to Hei. The founder thinks he big and all.

Laughable.

Tak, I've been bombarded with your messages stating your feelings towards Hei. I've spoken to him about it, and I've also told you to deal with him. I'm starting to wonder if you have actually talked to him.

Hei tends to be negative, quite a lot, and we all know that; but that's how he chooses to judge the cars!

If you don't like what's happening, then leave. Simple as that.

Take Onboy's advice. If you wish to make 'replicas', at least make the car drive like the real thing, and don't just use the same settings. It's a tuning competition for damn sake!

Apparently, you don't seem to take advice quite well.

Lastly, when have I ever described myself as "big and all"? Call me lazy and "big and all", I don't care. You will never know the things I do when I'm not behind a computer monitor, or off the internet, and so will I when it comes to you.

Well, I sent a FR to the founder asking for Mt Akina. Didn´t get an answer. I have to say again, that Integra handles very very well for being only 217hp. You got the balls to enter in the T300 with it! It isn´t slower than stock. Need to say, I love your vids! Both Initial D and GT5´s.

Alex, I'll be accepting your FR this weekend. I'm currently busy with school. My apologies for the delay.

That's one more thing I'll have to point out. Delays. There WILL be delays, due to me being in school again.

I leave for a bit, and come back to T300…with the air in here no different to how it was in T200's end.

Anyway, Alalalalalala, whatever-happens-now-I-don't-care, alalalalalala. *sticks fingers in ears, hoping the fight goes away*

Also…I'll be in T400. :P

You might have to wait for GT6 'till the fight is over.

If the Hot Version Showdown returns in GT6, I will be competing here once again since I've made the decision for a touge comeback to see off GT5.

Hopefully, GT6 will allow us to transfer cars and tracks from GT5, it'll be awesome testing the cars on Akina with the new physics.

This is my last bit, then I'm done with the argument. The stock one FEELS and HANDLES better than taks. The fact that it's just as fact with an oil change is icing on top.

I actually am a bit offended that an entrant does not feel we are worthy of an original tune and quite frankly it's made worse by the fact that he refuses to do this by entering cars that aren't even competitive. It may not show very well given my experience in tuning being what it is but I have put an honest foot forward to at least create a tune that is original and meets all regulations while not being overly limited. Just for the record it's nothing personal between me and Tak as he's done nothing to me outside of the Touge Showdown, so don't take it as such. I'm just a little offended that an entrant does not feel we as a group are deserving of an original tune.

Edit: Change of plans for my T400 entry. I will be entering a AWD. Watch out I hope the extra ordinary(for me) times are indicative of a fairly good tune. 3:03.xxx with a little to be had. All I'll say is Team Emperor would be proud.

May i remind ALL testers that July 10th is tester review deadline...
Please can we get all the review post by then 👍

Seems like T400 Awd is becoming full.... Better sign myself up in advance. I'm also eagerly awaiting the final results of my Evo..

I'm rusty ok, 3 seconds down on my best time at the track means I need to throw being ballsy lithe window and start from scratch. :P
