Ummm... I'm at 4:59.xxx in my 2CV... I may need to re-think my T40 entry... wait, what?... T400?... never mind :dopey:

Figured it would be best to test the handling characteristics on a track I actually know, and just adjust the trans for Akina. When do we begin posting tunes?

Hmmm.... Does anyone have any idea how to make the fwd torque steer less? I find my car having a hard time getting traction on throttle.

Hei
Guys, keep it on topic.

Oh come now. Us mere mortals can at least have a little bit of fun playing a game, can't we?

On topic - I do have a car that seems slow, but to the track masters might do okay :dopey:

Front toe out. Other than that nothing that I know of.

Out?... might need to try that 👍

Touche. I'll try and keep it on topic from now on. Sorry:(

3:06.xxx with massive understeer (but what do you expect with a FWD 400hp tank :dopey: )

I should finish the second half of the test stable in the next day or so. I've been super busy with work stuff that I barely had time for GT this past week. I wont let you all down.

👍 :gtpflag:

I'm almost done testing as well. I would be finished if Hei had his car on share. :P

I'll be away in Canada when the last set of results are posted but I'm looking forward to them.

I've finished testing the testers cars. Here are the highly unanticipated results!

Hei - Frog on Wheels Toyota Caldina GT-Four '02

Sector Time: 57.732

I didn't expect the Caldina to be as good as this one is. Super stable, excellent rotation and grip and the transmission is good. There was a small ammount of understeer but not enough to make a difference.

Pros:
- Good Rotation
- Good Transmission
- Good Speed

Cons:
- Very minor understeer

My Score: 100/100

SolidSnake7735 – Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IV GSR ‘96

Sector Time: 0:58.094

This is a very good tune. The use of the AYC gives it very good rotation (sometimes a little too uch if you're not careful) and the suspension is very well tuned, altough a tad stiff for my liking. My only gripe with it is it didn't feel as fast as the other cars I tested.

Pros:
- Great Rotation
- Good Grip
- Good Transmission
- Good Stability

Cons:
- Slightly underwhelming
- Little bit too stiff

My Score: 98.5/100

robrabbitman - Honda NSX Type R '92

Sector Time: 57.089

This thing is amazing. There's zero understeer and it just grips and grips. There was occasional oversteer but it is very manageable and doesn't slow it down. I mimic Hei in asking if I can have one.

Pros:
- Everything

Cons:

- I don't have one.

My Score: 100/100

EDIT: Just noticed that this was my 3,000 post.

Hey everyone. I'd like to take this time to apologize for taking so long with these results. A bevy of unexpected circumstances prevented me from doing this as quickly as I had hoped. That's not to say that the results won't be released. I have plenty of constructive feedback for all tuners as there were some outstanding cars in this issue as well as some disappointments.

I've contacted Slender for help with my latest snag, nothing game-breaking though. All I ask is you all be a bit more patient with me, as this is my first outing as a tester for this event. A few real-life issues prevented me from completing this task in a timely manner.

That being said, I'd like to introduce you all to the scoring system I'm employing in my testing. I do this so that there is no discrepancy with the scores, as you will notice that I give lower scores than the other testers.

--------------------

PLEASE MAKE NOTE: I do not take into account the car's speed into the scoring unless it's so fast/slow that it must be noted.
I rate on 5 categories, with 20 points maximum per each.

Traction: Overall grip, how effectively does the car put power to the ground
Stability: Is the car stable? Smooth? Does it get easily unsettled through switchbacks, esses and sections where the car is constantly shifting its weight.
Steering: How well does the car react to steering inputs, is it agile, sluggish?
Braking: How effective is the car at braking from high speeds, low speeds? Do the brakes help or hinder the car's ability to corner effectively?
Cornering: How does the car behave in a corner? Does it require excessive sterring/throttle/brake inputs to take a corner smoothly? Does it FEEL fast?
