Hmm…What I'm really dumbfounded by, and I do mean that, is how your car can be down on my car by 0.8 seconds at the first checkpoint…but have come out on top by 0.2 seconds at the end of the tunnel! There's only that corner there, and though I can't say I nailed it on every run, that's still stupid quick acceleration from a box, to make up such a distance in that space.

If that was aimed at this crazy Ol'outlaw, sounds like you may not have been being as aggressive in the first sector as you should be. Throw the car into the corners there hard and jump back on the throttle way early "Wicked Child" loves that sort of treatment.:D
Also what do you mean by saying I should be bolder with the brake balance? Thought it was pretty brave how I have it unless you think they need to be stronger.:dopey:

I was actually scared! The tyres were still cold on that odd lap or two I did, I only needed an idea of how it drove. :P I'm saying, the braking feels a bit...flat. And ineffective. So yea, try a bit higher maybe?

I am really curious about this "wicked child", what car is it ?

It's, in typical Crazy Old Man style, not a car we would have thought of. :P It's 4WD, and is insane. Godlike launch off the line, tightrope-ish handling, quite nice to drive even so and just...🤬 explosive acceleration for 200hp. And weighs sub-750kg.

Old 80's rally bred street car ? With that power, weight and 4wd, that would be unbeatable:scared:

It's the black car I currently have on share.👍👍

No its not an 80s Rally car. Think fairly modern sub compact 4door JDM econo box. If not for the bright red custom wheels it most likely wouldn't get a second look. Of course for those who know what the subtle graphics on the side mean, they are much more likely to take it seriously.:D

I can't get online to look at it now, my GT5 still stuck at 1.07 ... I am still trying to finish the update, I have been having installation error and slow download speed with intermittent time outs:ouch:

Only reason I'm not saying what the car is, is because I want others to discover it on their own.

Can think of several other 90s-early 00s JDM cars that should easily match or beat its performance.

Is it an Alto Works?

I had one car that come with stage 2 weight on it is it can be my entry . And its allowed as i finished the tune on it and i will PM you the tune ;).
Thanks Mat

Two questions.
1. If the car comes stock with a 6speed trans. Can you put in a FC transmission? Or just the close ratio?

2. Is this a standing start from the start/finish line to the end of the tunnel? (Hard to tell with the app.)... or is it a rolling start?

Thanks... I may have some ideas to try :dopey:

To be honest, Hot Version actually allowed probably old cars to be stripped(like Spoon EG6(Leaving Dashboard), Endless Racing EG6, Circuit Club Honda City). Usually they don't mind the car to be with full interior with or without A/C or Radio but for old cars like EG6, AE86 and etc. They'll pass if it's stripped w/ Radials. Usually if you were let's say to make a replica and you actually needed to do full weight reduction(but want to increase the ballast to same as replica), gotta use up to 5% or below. It's by HP limit so PP range won't be worried but don't forget the car will act different obviously from lightness.

@krenkme you can use a FC transmission as long as it doesn't give you more gears than you would get from a stock model.

Time is from a standing start at the start/finish line through the end of the tunnel.👍👍

Oh and I dare you to enter that killer VW van of yours!:D:crazy::lol:

My car had stage 2 weight and about 1245kg so i add window weight then i reduce the 5% ballast became 1185kg and no any upgrade parts on it just stock I add FC transimssion suspension LSD only

Final is 200HP 406PP 1185KG
Tell me if it allowed ;)

What ? Where ? How ? Unfortunately I can't go online for the time being, my GT5 still stuck at 1.07 ... the update server is suck, very low speed and cutting out every few minutes, and if I managed to download, error in installation :grumpy:. When I can get 2.08 and online again, I'll be joining you guys, I am thinking HKS R34 GTR Driving Performer, Bee Racing B324R, Hosaka Tuning Company R33 GTR, Yashio Factory S15, Fujita FD3S, Amuse JZA80 Supra or MCR R34 GTR, replicas for future classes event, just need to find their specs on the net.

For 200hp class, I have several possible candidates : Mini Cooper 1.3 '98, VW Golf GTI '76, Daihatsu SIRION CX 4WD '98, Toyota Altezza AS200'98, they are pretty slow stock, but with decent tune should give great drive instead of outright quick lap. Of course if I could get the update finished by deadline:nervous:

Sorry for offtopic but on this page (https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=217038) are some of your listed cars and some more Best Motoringe Touge "Monster"

I'll have a look at the tunes, and test them, thanks for link, I have been to that thread before requesting replica of Nakaya Tune FTO, I almost forgot about it:)

I could help you for those Hot Version replicas :P

I'll let you know if I'm missing some settings, now I need to get some credits to buy some cars and tuning :dopey:

I have a question. If the car didn't come with ABS but had it down as an option when buying it new, is it ok to use ABS?

As long as the car originally had ABS.

What if I don't mind the world knowing?

Feel free to post it then. :sly:

You know what, from now on, I'm just going to call you "Crazy old man". That thing just effortlessly smashed my car's time to bits. Rally car-esque gearbox is one thing, but don't try to get the handling as well, the tyres aren't up to the job.

Insane car…has real potential if you were a bit braver with the brake balance. And I really hope it kills all the testers so I don't need to worry, because I'm about to rebuild my car for the…3rd time, I think, after a drive in yours. :grumpy:

Who knows? Maybe I might crash it once I get behind the wheel. lol

Damage is set to heavy anyway. lol

Hmm…I'm not sure, if that's the case, how's this going to be implemented? Cars from a certain era can have that much more done to them? If your car is 4WD and…say, a Kei car *cough*, you can't do X/Y/Z to the weight? Or are we sticking to the blanket "No more than Stage 1 weight"?

I'd advise keeping things blanketed, otherwise it could get complicated.

Hmm…I'd agree with that.

But anyway…just out of curiosity and this question has nothing, absolutely nothing at all to do with my car (;)), did the FC RX7s come with ABS? Laugh all you want at that question, I've not got a single clue.

Yeah, it has ABS.

Here is my tune.

The last hairpin before the bridge need to be taken with the right direction input without cutting to much the apex.
Enjoy your drive.

Buy new car at NCD / no oil change / break the car 300 km mini / then change oil.

Phew…that was a relief. Was getting worried there that I'd have to do laps without it. :scared:

I'd usually run the brake balance at 3/2 without ABS, since the track isn't too fast.

Although, I think my MR-S is running at 6/5.

Same here…though I'd run 4/2 if I was being ambitious.

I run 7/5 on mine, even with ABS. It just doesn't need any more rotation, that thing.

Hey…I'm not sure how they do things on the show since…well, I don't watch, but in that example you put in the OP, they split the classes by drivetrain as well, so are you doing that? Or do I need to start fretting about my 80s wedge going against a toilet from Norfolk?
