What about TV sets?...my uncle just moved here from Miami, and just bought 2 beautiful things, first, a nice Sony wega 42" HDTV from best buy (he's financing it for like $1,800...and second...........: drumrolls :.......a mini bar!!!!

I swear mi uncle is the best, although i'm 19 my mom lets me drink when i'm at home; she just goes along with the italian culture
My frineds are coming over to see most of the Italy games but i'm gonna miss the inaugural game live , because i'll be at work at that time. I tried to buy one of those portable tvs but they were expensive for my pocket right now, I guess life is not always pink like they say...

I don't think I'll be able to watch the starting match this friday, it will be at 4PM over here and I'm still at work this time.

We'll stop working during Brazil's matches, but at our starting match next tuesday there's a birthday party my GF want us to go. I'll be able to watch the game at the party, I just hope there's not too many annoying kids there to spoil the fun.

The opening game is at 4pm GMT, so surely it must be nearer lunchtime for you guys in Brazil? Although you will still be working anyway Luckily, here it is on at 5pm (BST) - perfect for after work! I might be going round to my German workmate's house to watch it, since cheering on Germany (him, not me!) in a pub in East London is probably not a smart thing to do...

I'm probably going to have a small wager on Brazil... last time I had Ronaldo for Golden Boot at 8-1, a nice little earner that was!

I wouldn't discount England though - if they can avoid Germany in the 2nd Round, they will have a great chance to reach the semis, and from then on it is really anybody's - but to avoid Germany they must win their group, since Germany are very likely to win theirs...

Saturday will be mayhem around here... probably going to avoid the pub since my local(s) will be rammed full. May be watching the game at a friend's house, although he wants Paraguay to win, and I'm fairly neutral on the subject

Actually you can see how allot of the new international shirts look like the old ones. I think some of the designers went on a retro kick, like the italy away and the Holland kits as well.
