GTR from concept to production *finally comes to an end* or just the beginning =D

Hiya! :D :embarrassed:  Meow! (='.'=)

Yea that one! :embarrassed: I really love that one because of the futuristic look to it. Since some cars designs are changing to look more futuristic, I think this image is appropriate.

Smooth lines + e-4WD + V6 TT + Skyline DNA = Sexline   :embarrassed:

It's great looking, but I don't look at that and see any Skyline there. I'm hoping for the best with the next GTR, theres so many cars I'd like to buy that in a year or two I might be able to I'm starting to feel like a kid in a candy store.

We can never forget about the next GTR's competition because they can be just as good! :embarrassed:

I am like debating myself right now between a C6 Z06 and the new GTR. :odd: I just can't stop! Need to see them all now!!!! :embarrassed:

I still like this one so far:

I like the Blue one!

Does anybody know (or heard about it), if the Skyline GTR will be shown on the IAA in Frankfurt this year or at the Motorshow in Essen???

Thanks a lot

It's first showing is expected to be the Tokyo show late Sept.

Thanks for the fast reply!

The IAA is in Sept. too. But the Essen Motorshow is in the late November. So maybe we europeans can see it there.

I really hope it.

Have Fun

You know, that blue one sure does look good! :embarrassed: I think that blue one would be the most appropriate look for the new GT-R because it looks like an "infiniti". :embarrassed: It is a good thing since people will be able to tell from afar that it is something that Infiniti made since it carries some "infiniti" looks to it.

the tokyo auto show is OCT 22-Nov 6th

The GTR will be at the 2005 Tokyo Motor Show on Oct.22 (Saturday) at 9:30 AM. (from what I hear) Do not miss the press briefing from Carlos Ghosn, CEO of Nissan Motors LTD ;)

This would sure be good news for us SKyline fans! :embarrassed: Will you be there? :odd: I know I won't be there because I would be back in school already like every other student.

Would you give us briefing information when you find some? :embarrassed: 👍

First hand info from the show would be great. I won't be there since I'm in the wrong country . It should be at the next NEC though which may be a good bit away yet but it will be cool since thats the show I get to. I've still got all my pics from the last one in 2004.

I would like to see a video of the press briefing when it happens.

Don't we all? :)

I like that rear - with a little tweak - it could look amazing. Only a few more months till we see the official concept/prototype? Can't wait.

But they should really un center the exhausts. They look out of place to me.

Dual exhauts, one either side. Also the trademark twin round tail lights should remain. I think too many people seem to want to use more than hints of 350Z styling in it, the 350 is the modern 240Z, a very different range to the GT-R, while the Z's are more traditional in sportscar styling the GT-R were more closer to regular 4 seater coupe's but with an agressive stance. While many of these concepts look cool, I don't think the 350Z should be the insipration behind the next GT-R style. It should be unique and at the same time be recognisable as the next GT-R to people that may not follow the car. If you park an R33 next to an R32 you can thell the R33 is the next generation of the rang, same goes for the R34, I think the next GT-R should be recognisable and carry all the right hints and not go for an elegant or supercar-ish style.

I think the red one is my favourite so far, except I don't know what the front looks like. However I can't see a good way to implement exhaust tips in a more conventional manner. Maybe keep them at the centre together, but make them round instead of triangular.

I also really like that red Lexus LFA in the same page.

I'm not keen on the front of th at red LF-A, I much prefer the silver one in the smaller pic.

Well I found out today Infiniti is being reintroduced in Australia soon so its a good chance the next GTR will be Infinti here also.

Yup I found the pattents for infiniti GTR in australia a while ago :D nissan wants to bring infiniti globally :)

Holy ****ter on plate, I like that as the next GT-R. I knew it wouldn't be a G35 on steroids looking car since Nissin has deliberately made an effort to seperate the Skyline and GT-R brands.

Doesn't it just. I told you they wouldn't dissapoint. It'll probably have a higher roofline when it's built but damn, I'm still impressed with what they've come up with.
