I decided to go "All-in" and milk the NSX's straight line advantage to the fullest, so minimal downforce and maximum power.
Feature race was a rollercoaster. Started from 7th on the grid, immediately took two places on the straight and was battling for 5th with themainman1980. After a few laps I started to seriously lose pace and people were overtaking me left and right. I managed to stick around at the back of the pack for some laps but I was slowly losing sight of them.
After 14 or so laps I was frustrated and decided to for mediums immediately (at first I thought I'd save them for the end of the race), which was a good idea. I was steadily overtaking cars and with people pitting I suddenly found myself in the lead of the race. I was running consistent with the mediums even after 12 or so laps, the tyres felt good and I thought I could do one more lap. This was the biggest mistake of the race for me, since after the 130r corner the road suddenly turned into an ice skating rink. I was doing some serious drifting to keep the car straight and lost a lot of time and two people overtook me. After going back to hards I was really pushing it because I knew I had "too much" rubber in the tyres for the rest of the race. In the last 4 laps I overtook two cars and in the end finished 7th, exactly where I had started.
Sprint race was just a mad battle all the way from the start with my teammate Widowmaker. We were swapping places several times each lap and then themainman1980 decided to join in and we had a good 3-way scrap, me overtaking them on the straight and them overtaking me in the corners. At one point we even had a three wide braking battle into the first corner, it was really intense! I managed to overtake Widow on the last lap and finished 6th, one place down from where I started.
