Ahh... yeah, its fun, although it gets old pretty fast for some reason.

I was in a lobby with Remy_K with 14 other Japanese players. I kept saying "Spa Please!" but the host always replies, "Kart Last! Spa next rain!"

And when we did go to Spa, it was restricted to Karts lol. But yeah, Spa is beautiful. I've come to terms with the delay. Only 6 more days left

Spa is a beast of a track the astro turf for once actualy slows you down and causes you to lose grip rather than just be able to use it to go faster its bloody brilliant!!
(been testing ideas for Turbos Mx5 series weve come to the conclusion that Tuning Prohibited and Sports soft tyres are the way to go so its completely same car racing with the level of drivers we have it will be EPIC )

Me, Andil, Wardez and Paginas was in a room a few hours ago, and had a blast.. I'm defenetly looking forward to the Race between those 2.. 👍

We did race with slipstream set to "weak", and I must say that it's really close to spot on if you ask me. The slip is there, but you need a really good exit, and good timing to complete a slip stream pass. 👍

Not like the back straight as Suzuka, where no matter your exit, you'll catch up..

I do want to say something regarding the slip stream. Something to keep in mind: We always run full (or close to full) DF, and the greater your DF is in real life, the more slip you'll provide to the car behind due to all the air pushed away.
By reducing the slipstream around 5-10 steps, your speed will be 2 mph faster, and the car following you will get less draft. And will in that case loose around 2 mph due to your lower aero settings.
That combined gives a 4 mph advantage compared to running full DF, and will keep a car behind you for a longer period. I'm not saying that the slip stream was realistic before, but it's defenetly worth mentioning.


OwensRacing: Yes, first dibs to spectate will go to the highest placed drivers outside the top 4 from each class. 👍
Not only because of the final position, but also if we miss someone, the next driver in line will obviously take his spot. So if I'm not there, the spot goes to 5th place, and the rest move up.


About the final: I said we should run it next friday, but since the DLC won't be available for North America until the 25th, the race should be moved to the next friday.
If that's the case, then I most likely can't participate, but it's not the end of the world.
With this in mind, I was thinking that perhaps we could run the race Friday 28th any way, cause the way I see it, North Americans can get practice in quite easy. Just join a room (Almost every single open lobby is Spa for some reason this week ) and go.
I bet some Americans have run more than me on the track already.

So with this in mind: Should we still do the final on the 28th, or should we move it another week?

There is a problem with the 28th for me. I will be in Las Vegas that day, as my Wife's sister is getting married there that weekend. Not sure how to handle this. I would rather go this Friday if possible, and just join rooms where possible to get my practice in.

BTW, just had my first go at Spa, and I swear to God, it's actually better then a Spa. Not that I've ever been to one, but holy hell this track is gorgeous, I've even become ok with the different chicane and start/finish line.

I'm in. Make all races on Spa!!! I wanna do a say 600hp / 900kg LMP. NSX RM's and GT500. Oh maybe something silly like a one make of a slower model.......just throwing that out.

sweet loving the ideas, I think we should do sprint races so we can do all different cars.

has anyone tried shuffle mode yet? If so what's it like...

right whoever what to race Friday make sure you have a LMP car, the nsx rm and your gt500/300 car you would like to use next season or just to test out....

Shuffle races are great fun, you can set pp level and you are assigned a car from that group when you enter the track (and you stick with that car until pp level is changed I think) obviously everything has to be run stock which is fine until you get dealt an American muscle car that max's out at 120mph and your racing at la sarthe.......all good fun though!!

I'm in for some SPA shenanigans on Friday!

I tried out shuffle racing the other day and got myself into a nice lobby run by some English chap. His rules were clean only, reverse grids, and the winner gets to pick the shuffle ratio PP number. Maybe we could do that.

Well the guy's room I was in said you had to pick between 300 and 480 but that may be a bit too low for us WSGTC lot. Totally depends on what kinda cars everyone wants to drive. Some where in the 400 range may be a good starting point?

Anyone else available for Friday's Photoshoot? I think we only have 9 volunteers so far.

Here are some ideas i have:

1. Tsukuba Last Hairpin - 16 cars will park facing the curb
2. Indianapolis Pits - 16 cars will pit at the very same time to give us an action pack pit-road
3. Suzuka Straight - 16 cars will park side by side diagnoally
4. Spa Eau Rouge - 16 cars will drive through Eau Rouge at close distance while rolling at 60 mph/100 kph
5. Action Shots - Undecided (Cars running through curbs and getting air? Etc.)​

Also, if you have time, please check the Season 3 Discussion thread. We need feedback from everyone 👍

Very sweet layout, Masi. looks pretty awesome. As for the photo Ops, those sound like good ideas. For the pit shoot, make sure you get pictures of cars pulling in while others are pulling out.

For action shots maybe have two cars going through a turn two wide with a third coming up behind them? You could also have someone cut a curb and get some two wheel action, a second car on the outside.

As for the Volunteers I'll post what I believe is the most recent list after this.
