Don't know exactly, I'm not paying ;)

A friend of mine drives in the VW Scirocco R Cup which is the support championship for the DTM so I'm spending the weekend in his pit, I think the VW hospitality ticket I have costs around £500 for the weekend

Wardez is streaming all races. Just look in his signature, and you'll find a link to his stream. 👍

But you friends can not be in the room. We need to keep the number of persons in the room to a minimum to help the connection.

Sure.

Due to school and work starting again, I got to make decisions of what I spend my GT5 time to. I figured WSGTC (5 + hours a week) is too much for me at the moment (as I don't want WSGTC to be the only thing I do in GT5). And that's pretty much it.

This is how we're going to do.

The GT500 waitinglist guys will race in D2 since we only got one field of GT300's. I believe GTP_Raagentreg will join from the waitinglist to the GT300 pack.

So there will be a "same class" race for 9 GT500's in D2.


Host:
I'll host D1 (If I'm stil in D1 by the time the deadline is reached. 30 minutes left now.).

Paginas, can you host D2?


Hwo ever is hosting: Make sure to look up any ballast, and also at what PP and weight all cars in your room are supposed to be at.
TIP: I always write down the entire grid on a piece of paper. One list in PP order, one list in BHP order, and one list in weight order.

Mekes things a lot more simple when hosting. 👍

I can host... Did owens host D2 La sarthe? if he did then i think that went really well so if he doesnt mind then he could do it, Im pretty sure he has a much better net than mine

Yep, unless there are some GT300 guys who haven't qualified who wish to race in D2 (albeit a bit late :scared: ). Despite my disappointment at missing out on D1 again, there are many skilled drivers in D2 which should make it quite an exciting race 👍 Just look at how close the Qualifying times are.. :drool:

Yes. And since there is no GT300's, the GT500 waitinglist will fill the grid. So you'll be 9 GT500's in that race as it looks for now. Perhaps one or two more drivers show up during the day. But 9 for now. 👍

No doubt it will be exciting. I was really surprised at how competitive this series is. It's insane! :crazy: I missed D1 by .012 or something like that. Wow, looking forward to race more here. Im already getting better at the GT500 cars. Hey, you gotta race with the best if you want to improve. 👍

Normally the GT300s do an extra lap and then the GT500s perform their rolling start in front of the GT300s. That's never enough because the GT500s end up overtaking the GT300s even before the halfway mark, and sometimes a few GT300s don't finish the race. At Indy it would mean they are 80 seconds back, which they can make up in 14 or so laps.

Now if the GT300s do an extra lap and then perform their rolling start say, 40 seconds ahead of the GT500s, the GT500s should take around 22 laps to overtake us (after they have overtaken us once already) which is just over the half way mark. With the 20 laps left at a 6 second lap advantage, the GT500s should finish the race 2 minutes ahead of the GT300s.

I'm not sure how you did it at Monza but I'm only commenting from races before 2 weeks a go.
 
Guys I'm gonna use my other PS3 to stay and watch the entire D2 GT500 race. the account's gonna be "GTP_Wardez" just so Paginas knows.

It's so I can save the replay of the race without having to wait a week for it :)
