Hey guys just create a f1 thread
Yeah, I think it's time we go ahead and start a thread over in the Codemaster's F1 forums, and just remind everyone every now and then of the new league on here so they know it exists.

VELOCI_2NRCan somebody qualify me tomorrow morning? like around 10 PST? Lets see if I can remember how to drive my Arta
ZachAK47Sheffield Hallam lol. Engineering has a massive shortfall of employees lol. You're pretty much sorted for a year in industry then often that company employs you when you graduate.
British Motorsport creates more money than the British music industry.
How everyone can't find jobs it's cos they ain't looking in right places. Manufacturing firms are massively understaffed and they love graduates/students it's great. I have some experience using lathes and working with a F1 team supplier .
One way or another I will make it as a F1 mechanic.
Getting. On topic. It's real easy to lose a second in the last sector here. There's 1 quick line which is obscure and hard to get right lap after lap.
I can get 37.8s regularly, but any lower will be hard.
kk20I've forgotten what my arta looks like.
Sheffield??!! Thats like the 4th best in the country for engineering. No effing way man...

Just pointing out something that can be seen for yourself, but the new update next Tuesday will change the amount of aerodynamic drag when adjusting wing settings. Hopefully this means there will actually be benefits to running less downforce now, and it's no longer fastest at every track to just run as much as possible.
Yeah noticed that. Also want to know what they mean by 'endurance race' when referring to the fact the tires will last longer.
This ride height thing tough. Sounds like its going to completely mess up the setups. :S.
kk20Wait theres a new update next week??!!!
EDIT: Wow, that HSV's a beauty. Really wanna drive her. Tyre wear for online still the same though. They really should have fixed this. Aero drag finally.
KakarotWas the vid in game or was it r/l super gt?
I hope they represent the aerodynamic levels of the HSV more accurately than the current Super GT's in game. At minimum, all the Super GT cars should have downforce levels equal to standard FIA GT cars like the Viper GTS-R, Vette C5R etc. IRL these cars produce downforce rivaling if not exceeding LMP cars. Notice the Premium Castrol Toyota Supra JGTC car has a higher downforce points than the newer SGT's. Kind of backwards. Sorry for my rant. I'm leaving now
