Yo Veloci I can ride those lines, but that's what I'm talking about the difference between using a wheel and a Ds3. I cant ride up on the apron and then switch back the opposite direction using the D-pad plus 1 hand for turning, and 1 hand for gas/brake vs 2 hands for turning/2 legs for gas/brake. Even the guys using analog stick have it better than me, lol. I'm still bidding on CSW only wheels (i'm going all in for GT5), and hopefully I win this bid on Thursday cause I'm super ready to rig this thing finally! 👍

pLc: I believe the Rx-7 04, Subaru 03, and Celica 0? are still available. I saw up to 3 drivers per chassis so as of right now I'm guess that's the limit maybe'

Trust me. It was certainly there prior like several updates when I forever tested for your previous series.

There's no limit on what kind of car. Variety is promoted but not the law.

Ahaha. I just laugh to myself when I think about how much time I gave for suzuka. Countless laps every day.

Also, you can pick any car you like. There isnt a restriction in place for this season....
 
P1 session closed with a best of 1:36.650. I only touched 3 settings so far and no DF yet so I'm figuring I can run in the 1:35's come Saturdays race night! After lapping with Veloci very briefly he ran a 1:34.072 so it's safe to say 1:33's are possible'
 
So my statement about the aero damage is ********. I swear though I've noticed a difference before. May have been because crashes cause tyre wear if you fly miles sideways lol.

I think the aero damage is only applicable if Visual Damage is On, not sure if it also has to be heavy damage also, but I'm guessing that's not what you normally race on so I don't think heavy damage is required.

If you don't believe me, easy way to test. Drive a rally car like the premium subaru or citroen, something easy to get in the dealership. Wait for your car door to start flapping around after you smash some stuff on a track and then see how much your top speed drops lol.

Not really related, but spins can also cause big problems with tires. I don't run abs so the tires wear even and the balance never goes too far.

But if I have a spin the pace drops quite abit and the rears last at least a lap less. Also need some time to develop a new rythym. Noticed it in the recent race and Artmann can probably testify to my pace loss too. :P
 
Yeah, but that should make sense since you're burning rubber off the tires when you spin much faster than just rolling a tire down the street. Add to the fact of the hyper tire wear implemented 2 or 3 patches ago, and you get some crazy things happening lol.

It's what you gave me bro, and Im loving that tune! Don't dare touch a good setup for fear of messing it up.

I think it may be the line I use, in every track I use a slightly different line to everyone.

Also is it possible to reduce understeer in that setup for quali? That would be perfect.
 
Well the tire wear was due to you managing your pace then , you were running 1 sec slower than me and immortal for the first stint of the race but it gave you a lot more pace in the end of your stints.

Cant wait for Monaco , going all out to make up for my poor performance last week

I wasn't paticulatly trying to manage pace though, but I noticed some extra margin on exits when tires were new. I need to learn how to go fast and use up new tires for quali :/

Hopefully I can get into room A and see you up front at Monaco. :)
 
Hey what lap times is everyone running? Just would like to see whats going to be fast. And with this chicane, is it going to be 2 wheels on the pavement left of the curbs? Just 2 wheels on the curbs is cutting I feel like

We have never regulated that chicane here at Monoco. Take it the fastest way possible. In race conditions though we will analyze any careless moves in that corner that results in heavy contact.

Laguna Seca Penalties

These are the penalties for incidents sent to me by either by drivers or other stewards:​

Mike Canze: -1 point for the incident on lap 33 with GT300 driver Tyson Loveless. The GTRRL stewards have indicated to me that it was clearly a wreckless incident and definitely could have been avoided.

For the incident that occurred near the end of the race between Tyson Loveless and Phil N, the stewards have decided the incident isn't clear on who is at fault but a passing warning has been issued to Phil N to hopefully avoid a situation like this in the future.

Incident between Art Mann and Michael Duran on lap 16 is still being reviewed by stewards. (panoz can you analyze the replay on this incident).

After a shortened session as I got annoyed crashing into walls (I hate Monaco, on F1 games I cause a pile up and retire). My personal best is 1.34.4
I feel a low 33, and even a mid 32 is possible.
