Darn Alefin you're a soldier. I just hope I'm not last because I'm already bad at Monaco (only raced there once too) with ballast I'll be even worse!
Can we have 2 lobbies for this track? 1 for 500's & 1 for 300's. I raced LMP's here on friday with the GT class with us, let me tell u that it was tight and alot harder with the slower cars. It took everything I had not to touch the GT cars. If not I'll tough it out. lol

No hard feelings Phil. I don't want to be bounced around this track by faster cars. :)

Good to know its settled.

The incident with TNT and Pepsi is a close call on given what the two parties was seeing at that moment in the race. All the other incidents we're pretty cut and dry on what happen. Given that Monaco is the next race, its interesting what the time different between the 500s and 300s cars is going to be.

If I hadn't missed 2 races I could be in 4th. :dunce:

And If I never cocked up in laguna seca and if a 500 never crashed me in suzuka, I could have won both races. ah well, you know what they say. You can only piss with the cock you've got.

I like monaco but Im not looking forward to it after laguna seca. I now know why king quit 500s. 👎

Nice 1 Kk, the should of, could of, would of syndrone!

Sinlander not only is there no room for these 500's to pass us nicely, we will experience this more often than usual since this the course is no longer than my,.... If you hit me I'll hit you back, lol

I'm thinking just the opposite. I dont expect the 300s to be more than 3 seconds off per lap. The speed differential in corners is negligible or advantageous to the 300s. Its only the short straights and the hill where the 300s will be slower.

In my experience, when it comes to turns, corner exit traction are where 500's excel, but the 300's seem to have better mid-corner grip. Entry speed seems similar. This could get interesting.

You got a point there, 👍

Yeah you're right. Thats how I managed to overtake you in laguna right after you lapped me. But you did ofcourse lap me back...

Are we going to appoint room host before race day this time and maybe figure out a different way to split rooms so that there is an even amount of cars in each room? AND maybe have a more definate and, not hoping we can catch an online steward, way to qualify? Maybe spliting each field in half no matter how many people qualify for each would be a nice way to ensure a nice size field in both rooms and, here in Monaco, less cars on track for each room. My point is, lets not go through the same thing as last week where one series gets cancelled and some people just dont get to race for the other

sorry that i missed the last few races have been busy and unfortunately don't think i'll have much time to continue in the league so thank you.

Tell me when you want to qualify and more often then not I'll be there.

Better yet, schedule a time in advance. I can't check this thread 24 hours a day, but if you give advance notice, I'll be ready for you.

Thats what we should do, is schedule it or make plans with each other. Thank you. When are you available Thursday? I usually do it then and will prob be ready then

Well lookee lookee at who's back. :sly: I don't think passing here should be that horrible. There's about 3 or 4 straights that are long enough for the 500's to pass, they'll just have to be really patient just like F1 drivers have to be here.

On another note, I have no idea if I'll be racing this weekend. The forecast is calling for rain Saturday right now, but who knows if that will change. So I probably won't have any idea until about 4 pm or so on Saturday.

Practicing!!

I'm available anytime Thursday, Eastern time. Essentially 9AM to 9PM, but I don't leave my PS3 on all the time usually.

Feel free to pick a time and I'll be there.

The TC series got cancelled cause of the lack of stewards. This series didn't have a room b saturday cause of the lack of people qualifying. I don't like splitting the rooms evenly cause that takes a larger amount of people out of contention for a win. For example: Phil N started 6th in the 500 class and won the race. If it would have been split evenly, the highest he could have finished would have been 6th cause there would have been 5 in one room and 4 in another. I like the maximum amount of drivers possible to be able to have a chance to win.

Just make sure to qualify better this week bud 👍

I'm surprised I managed to win, was sick to the point that I almost didn't bother turning up.

I'm curious of the weight I have to deal with at Monaco as well.

Will qualify on Friday most likely as I only return from track camp on Thursday.

So I'm back from spa.
Seeing overtakes in all categories on Eau Rogue has massively made me rethink my driving style.
Guys if people can overtake mid Eau Rogue as Petrov did on Glock (not shown in TV), then how are 500a crashing into 300s? Just give each other space.
Both drivers passing responsibility of each others space ends up like a Schumacher Grojean at Monaco that was then repeated at Spa between Grojean and Hamilton.
You see a guy overtaking be aware. Dont go, **** it he's a 500 it's his fault if we crash. And 500s don't treat the 300s like ****. You force them into walls and off the track and you're just not made for a clean league.

Phil and TNT. Racing incident. I've raced many races around Laguna Seca on various games, and that corner is my favourite place to overtake. It is possible but it is risky. Nooses at fault there.

Good to be back guys. Let's have a good race.

Edit. Remember, even though the damage is on light, aero damage lasts for the entire race. Aero damage costs up to 5mph on a straight. And causes catastrophic understeer on front, and oversteer on rear. Meaning you run up to 2 laps less on tyres. Just think about the next time you try squeezing someone.

P1 session starting now. I cant wait to season 2 so I will already know how many laps each race will be instead of having to race for a straight hour to figure it out! 👍

Aero damage? I sure didnt know this. I think Im gonna test to see how severe it can be.
