After talking to the rest of the drivers on the drivers list, the 14 who have qualified will be it. So therefore qualifying is all but official. Congrats to Ron Meier on his pole and congrats to the rest of you on your runs!
Race Post:
Just a reminder on how things will work. We will have the room open probably 30 minutes before 9ET that way we can get things set up and make sure everything is operating. We will probably get the race started closer to 9:30ET just depends when everyone gets into the room. Be sure to follow the instructions of the stewards during the entire process to result in the quickest, problem free start.
The qualifying results above represent the starting order of the FIRST HEAT race. The starting order of the second heat race is based off reverse finishing order of the first heat race. Drivers who quit or park there car during the first heat race will lose there right to the reverse order start and will start in the back. Sand bagging in this manner is frowned upon. If the race coordinator feels that a driver parked there car in any manner during heat race 1, then they can rule that a driver must start in the back for race two. Lag outs are subject to the race coordinator ruling on whether the driver can start the near the front of heat race 2.
When we are doing the pace laps remember that it is staggered rolling start so you are to keep a car length inbetween you and the next driver. Here is an image describing how to this:

Pace speed will be 50 mph and is up to pole sitter to keep this speed. When the leader hits the start finish line that is when everyone can go full speed. THERE IS NO PASSING before the start finish line.

Just a reminder either me or DragonGT83 will open the race room around 8:45 to 9 pm est. The race will start at 9:30pm est. So everyone be ready for some fun racing and clean racing. Please everyone remember your racecraft as this track is definetly a tough track to pass at.

Dont be so darn gay 2NR. I was loafing and doing easy .5s,before, .31x was my best. The pressure wuz too much, I tell u! The intensity of King's stare put me in the dirt; he willed me off the track! Is that even legal?!

No doubt. As we were talking about earlier, even if your like 3 tenths faster then the guy in front of you, it's still really hard to pass. So as close as the field is, everyone is going to be locked up together.
I predict someone starting in the top 5 will probably win heat 1 given the difficulty of passing but heat 2 will be anyones to win. I can see someone finishing between 8th-10th in heat 1 taking the win in heat 2.
What is important for everyone to remember is keep your patience. 28 laps of being stuck in traffic can be really frustrating and can be easy to loose your cool and pack it down into the corner. Just take what's given to you and keep the racing at an A+ level

Well im glad those races are over at Tsukuba. But i guess what did you expect for a tight track with everyone being so close in lap times. It was fun though, cant wait for next week when we take the RX-7 TC to Indy Road Course. Just so yall know we did lower the horsepower for the car to 404hp at indy road. We did this so we are not all redlining half way down the straight away lol.
