The Mazda RX-8 to the RX-7 they don't have the same name yet the former is the succesor to the latter in the fact that it has the same engine style (Rotary) and is the next number after RX-7

If you read back abit, you'd see that the RX-7 or 8 wasn't mentioned, and its either from the Ford GT family, Mitsubishi family, or the Alfa Romeo family.

Not the RX-7/RX-8 because the latter is a full sucessor to the former.

Hint: All three cars (the elder, the named, and the heir) are from Japan

From Japan huh:ouch::banghead:beats me....but i'll try again

If it's not the RX-7/8 then it might be the lancer/lancer evo,because the evo is heir and the sedan is by name

Colt Galant GTO? 3000GT(GTO)-Named, 380-heir?

Here's the answer, though I'm not sure what the 380 is supposed to be.

Explanation time: The riddle was said from the perspective of an older car, the Toyota 2000GT. 30 years later the true heir to it's legacy was the Toyota Supra, but the succesor by name was the Mitsubishi 3000GT.

Hey, I told y'all it was flaky.

Wow that was tough was pretty sure it was the 2000-GT but i never thought the cars were from different makes. Anyway nice one

Who's next?

This is the 380:

It's pretty much the Australian version of the Galant.

Well, that's by no means what my answer meant (not the 380 bit, but the 2000GT/3000GT bit). I meant the Galant GTO was followed in name by the GTO/3000GT and by family the 380/Galant. Do I still get it? I don't have a riddle (yet) so I don't mind if you don't give me the victory.

I knew it because i read the car description.:):dopey:

Here goes: I was designed with silk hats and baskets of eggs in mind.:cool:
