No. Hint as promised:

This car used to have a different, to some more colorful version. Although it in real life went with something close (yet far) from this car, most other games has the secondary.

It is to be noted that the cousin and the secondary color are not the same ones. Next hint will definitely reveal it :nervous:

No. Let me refrain:

We're looking for an arguably german car that used to have 2 color versions. This car was said to be the toughest of it's class and that has (indirectly) been proven correct. Furthermore there's a cousin to this car which PD might have trouble including due to license. But another game company did so by replacing the affected decal with the logo of the manufacturer. About the spectacular reunion.. Saying something might reveal it but let's just say the first names of both start with C

Correct! Explanation:

Some say including this cars cousin would be a problem due to licensing. BUT there's always the chance of doing like the other creators..

The Lancia Delta in GT5 is sponsored by Martini, but the letters are replaced by the well known black boxes. So including the '00 Martini Focus (which is the cousin) might seem difficult to some. However, Codemasters did this for Colin McRae Rally 2.0 by putting the Ford decal where the Martini would normally be.

This car, as well as the evolutions (HINT?) were known for being the toughest of their class. And it was proven right!

Colin McRae at Cyprus managed to roll it several times but the car wouldn't give up. That's proof enough imo.

Bonus: This car was also subject of a very spectacular reunion.

McRae and Carlos Sainz was team mates at Subaru in the mid 90's, and they weren't always that much team players. Take McRae in Spain '95 iirc. He was told to slow down but in turn almost hit a team employee trying to slow him by blocking the road. So when they joined forces again (with the Ford Focus as their weapon) there was quite a bit of speculations, understandably.

The Focus had a blue version in GT2, which most other racing games have been loyal to. The part about sticking to the white one doesn't need an explanation.

Your go again, darn I didn't have enough thinking time to figure out a Burnout-'88-ish riddle for this

Nowhere close, here's the next piece:

"I see you got the ***** back together again." "I do disregard your jibes about my equipment..."

Ummmm Lotus Esprit Turbo '86?
I'll give you that one. James Bond drove a Lotus Esprit Turbo in For Your Eyes Only, and the riddle comes from what he says to bond girl Melina after he witnesses his Lotus explode when someone tries to break into it. The second clue comes in the scene where Q has rebuilt Bond's Lotus, and Bond was always joking about Q's inventions.

We may not have the specific car in GT PSP, but we have the '87 Lotus Esprit Turbo HC. since VspecZR1GT2RS89 was closest, it's his turn.

Hope that all made sense, I didn't know if you were Bond fans or not :guilty:...

Well, I do like the 007 movies and I do some reading on some of the cars from the movies though.

I don't have a riddle yet. So if I don't respond in two hours, someone else can take my turn. :)

As that hasn't happened I'm coming with a relatively easy one:

If you wanna go faster you should try my bigger cousin

2 of you have the right country, and one of them are even so extremely close it could be a matter 1-digit guesses before it's revealed.

Hint: I'm the only of my kind in GT, though there used to be quite a few of us
