It's all one big conspiracy:"A high rpm vtec screams through the night, the gearshift is never relieved as speed blurs the line between real and fiction. But this mans name is the same as a game that was the the launch point for the next GT."
Refers to the Amuse S2000 and Keiichi Tsuchiya, somewhat understood..
Now, Tsuchiya drives a AE86 Toyota in real life, the same car as he is driving in the manga series created by Schuichi Shigeno, who mysterioulsy has a AE86 named after him..
I think I need a sleep to get my thoughts sorted out.

That refers to the S2000, and Joshima never lets go of the gearshifter, earning him this nickname. (Which is very important to the riddle.) And the last part refers to how Initial D isin't real.
