Its gotta be somewhere in South Africa. Netherlands = Orange.

EDIT: I FOUND IT! Its some place called QwaQwa! I googled "Black Pony South Africa"

Whats the category? It kinda looks like the French and Russian flags so I think it may be a city in one of those countries.
 
It would help if we knew what category this flag fell into, but to me it looks like an historical flag for some European region.

All I can think of is Normandy, but I can't find evidence which suggests that. It's my only guess though.
 
Well, considering its got a christian woman in the middle and its red, white and blue, I'm going to safely guess that its most likely in Russia. Hmmm... is it near St.Petersburg? (The Christian lady)


EDIT: This flag probably is a historic flag for 2 reasons.
1) I don't think they would put a Christian lady in the middle of their flags these days
2) I can't find it being a flag of any Oblasts

The closest Oblast flag I could fine is this:

It certainly isn't a modern national flag, but it does look as though it could originate from a Slavic region (with the Pan-Slavic colours and all). Perhaps it refers to the eastern orthodox church? More clues would be helpful.
 
I guessed that it might be a flag of some sort of orthodox church as well since it has that cross and the typical orthodox icon in the middle. I tried searching for flags of different orthodox churches but couldn't really find anything.
