I'm in favour of very very realistic hybrids only. I'm quite glad to see hybriding go. Though I ma sad that realistic hybriding may be gone. But oh well. I only drove vanilla cars anyway.

yeah its sad to see the hybrids go and im extremely annoyed i cant have my team orange evo anymore but it shows they are still dedicated

I think it sucks! If the makers of gt just listened to what we want hacking might of been avoided. I have a hack 300zx n used it last night online n it still goes the same. If gt6 doesn't have any good mod then i won't b buying it, I'm sick of the same game been redone over n over, will they ever learn!

Its the hackers that never learn.

Not them.

Zed is right on that one. Unfortunately, realistic modders are not the majority. Stupid kids that like to lock up open lobbys and and use hacked cars to cheat are though. and since PD is into selling their product, they have to do what they can to be sure that the biggest buying group is happy, which is not modders/hackers. But. Kaz did say he was addressing the wants of modders, at least to some extent, so who knows.

Personally i would like to keep my realistic hybrids but as said by a couple others already, the majority who use hybrids are using them online and most of them are just ridiculous.. Kinda :ouch: because i just made quite a few realistic ones so it's not fun losing them.. But when looking at a bigger scale, PD is doing what is right for the game.. I Don't like it but hey, you got to look at things from the other perspectives too

Its such a shame that some people abused these mods and spoiled it for the rest of us. I really cant enjoy gt5 right now, i miss my 2jz and v8 drift beasts too much. In drifting, these mods are very essential if not mandatory. I think its weird that in a japanese car game theres only four pro drift cars and only one of them is premium?? that does not make any sense at all in my head. The gt series needs to focus more on the drifting scene instead of the racing. I know its a racing simulator but come on. I guess i have to wait for gt6 to see whats up. If none of these mods are not possible in gt6, then i will be very disappointed. and BTW why isnt Ebisu in gran turismo?? GT NEEDS EBISU!!

^^Not all people who play this game usually drift. Therefore, it's better to say that both drifting and racing should be balanced in the game in a way or manner that it should satisfy everyone who plays it and besides, Gran Turismo wasn't born as a drifting game, but I'm not saying that it shouldn't include drifting in the games. Just saying.

Of course it should be balanced, but right now its like 10/90 drifting/racing. Out of 1000+ cars, only 4 pro drift cars?? That is not appropriate, in my opinion. And it certainly does not satisfy everyone at the moment, thats for sure.

I belive you forgetting the AEM S2000, so that making it 5 in total, with 2 off those are being Premium :)
Haha thats true B, i just found out. Anyways, its still only 5 out of 1000+ cars. PD could at least make all of them premium. A perfect example of not enough focus/dedication for the drifting in gt.

At one side I like that they've patched it. The way people made their cars ridiculously fast was getting annoying.
I am so glad to not see stupid hellaflush no life in the suspension drift cars now (aka chassis swaps).
MadFlavour
That's something they needed to patch instead of engine swaps. It's worse then using a super grippy chassis imo

Highly disagree. Besides wheel spacing, there is nothing realistic about chassis swaps.

The steering modification is used in every forum of drifting there is.

Also because of PD's poor car modeling some cars (well pretty much every car in GT5 depending on which wheel you are using) needed the modification to replicate its true turning radius. When used in the right way you are just fixing what PD didn't model correctly in the first place.

This is to the hackers that abuse the game:

Not them. (PD)

Obviously there are some advantages with hacking that fix things in the game. Along with really very damn realistic hybrids. And I miss them already even tough I have never done any of this. Or driven that many hybrids cars at all.

But nonetheless I am pleased to see its gone because it's fit for Gran Turismo 5 for it to not be there anymore mainly due to the online gameplay. It also sort of takes the main learning curve of manually tuning cars away no matter what car for what racing type its for.

I hope you might know what I mean.

I think Hellaflush cars are a joke as well. BUT! Not all of the chassis swapping was bad. My 270R (Thanks again Hako), was the best car I've ever driven on GT5. And it had a 370Z chassis under it.

Very true.

I don't really care how PD dropped the ball on steering angles as it is, nor am I looking to correct them. I use the steering lock modification because it allows more control and it just feels so much better to drive.

The Hackers I hate personally are the ones who uses things for cheating. I only used the Hybrids if it were..let's say.."Bring personal hybrids in room", "Realistic Hybrids Battle" or to make replicas or even correct the flaws of the car (like NA Roadster having 55:45 instead of 50:50, Amuse S2000 R1 having 4.1 Final instead of 4.5, etc). If you understand what I mean. Luckily though, I'm still on 2.11.

I completely understand you and completely agree and this is what I support most about the hybriding.

4 cars 3 non premium yet it sponsors D1GP..

I don't know about everyone else, but it seems that every time I go and read peoples opinion on any Gran Turismo game, I just read a bunch of complaining and confusion. I might be the only person in the world who enjoys Kaz's vision and look forward to new releases of his works of art.

I am the same way. I still play all the time. I have beaten this game over 7 times legitimately.

7 times? ... you know how long those endurance races are? you would have to spend almost twice the amount of time on your profile judging by the number of days on your profile in order to achieve that.
