Hey, I found this thread :dopey:

Hard to get used to this new GTP layout :ouch:

Tokyo R246 is next right?

@Ciro, nope

@ speedy, safe choice

@ sparky, yes.

Edit: for anyone struggling to find the thread, put a link in your signature. :)

Alright, as requested by nascarfan1400, I'll post up some points championship situations...

Also, the Subaru meet fell through because Halloween (happy Halloween everyone) and rain, so I've got the whole night to work on points. 👍 expect them all done. :)

Aaaaarg!

Okay, now I'm mad. Holy crap, what the heck happened?! I go to school for a few hours (8+ today) and come home to find the basement torn to shreds. Yes, what you see is a PS3 game room that's been demolished... No, not burglarized... But rather torn apart by some idiot painter.

 Expect delays.

Points situation:

Group A:

Group A

Independents Team's Championship up for grabs. Caine will add some serious momentum to Red Bull Racing's chances, and Turbo_snail is also showing good pace. Adam46 should continue to support Sigdam Racing's lead.

Driver's championship can be won by Jammy, MrM, Driverman447, buck, Siggers, Adam, boywonder, gokartman, whiskymaser, sparkytooth, nascarfan (if improves internet), Polarbear345, Sakery, Gedi69, tbwhhs, GTP_caine, though it is highly unlikely that anyone below boywonder can win... Given that they have less than half the points of the leaders. With that said, Jammy, Ciro, Siggers and I (having more than 400 points) are much more likely to win.

Rising Star can be won by anyone, although Ciro still looks to be in good position. Adam could pose a serious threat. If sparky returns, the missed rounds will negatively affect his chances, but don't count him out entirely. Turbo_snail's recent pace could certainly swing things in his favour...

Group B:

Group B

Everyone eligible/mathematically capable of winning. Nothing to say here.

Don't you worry, until my FF hate subsides, I won't be even considering racing one.

FF hate? Okay, buck...

Onwards, I've added drop rounds to all of those inflicted. The points changes won't be reflected yet, but as you can tell, some people have missed more than the two allotted Drop Rounds.

So, if you see an "N/A" in the "Drop Round?" row, you've missed more than 2 rounds per run group. That means the score must remain as a zero, when the best 10 results are being counted towards the final points. Someone like Jammy, Siggers and I, who have never missed a Run Group A round will get our two worst results removed, ~70 points worth of drop round "lost points." For an example, I would lose 151 points for Rounds 1 and Round 4. :guilty: Siggers would lose 121 points, Jammy 174 (because of his consistency.)

So, the championships are clearly still within reach.

Edit: and, as such, I'm locking all drivers into their current manufacturers/cars, because the Manufacturers championships can't influence which cars people drive.

I'm a little confused.

If you get pole in quali, that's 16 points.
If you win the quali race, that's 16 points.
If you win both feature races, that's 64 points.

That totals 96 points.

Jammy scored 100 at round 3 and 98 at round 7.
Gokartman scored 97 at round 2 and 99 at round 3.

How?

-------

Edit

Also, round 7 for Jammy.

Pole, 1st, 2nd, 1st. = 94 not 98

Ah fair enough, I must have misread the OP.
The OP doesn't say anywhere about 20 points for pole, just 'reverse' position points. (1st = 16 - 16th = 1) But fair enough if that's what you have been doing all season.. means even more points for me to try and get!

Is it possible to take a drop round, and have Caine and Boy wonder earn points? So three drivers score?

Wait, we swept!? Alright guys! Dinner on me! ;)

Whered Sig and Adam finish?

I came fourth in the first race, and my screwed up head prevented any further racing from me. Sig's results? Not really that sure. Do we still do the point gain in room two or whatever it is? I forget how it works these days? I don't mind either way, I'm sorry for last night, I was in a bad place.
