i know the answer but just checking :guilty:

This might surprise you, I limit the series by the maximum grip available, but not the minimum. Of course, I'm not responsible for your decision making, and if you make it publicly known that you're using Sports Softs in the rear, I can only give penalties to those who give you a specific bump...

... and not give you extra points if they successfully spin you. :guilty:

However, I'd like to know first; are you experiencing that much understeer?

^Still playing the blame game
You don't need to respond to this thread...
Braun has never spun the same person twice in one race; to braun's credit.
Yes he has.
Of course, I'm done with all of this. If you're in ToCA (DK, Furi, gokartman, Lancer) you can enjoy your time in ToCA. All I ask is that you leave ITCC alone.
Not coming to defend TOCA, but you're making statements based on your incorrect knowledge about TOCA, it's a discussion forum, if you badmouth something, don't cry when someone disagrees with you.

Oh, and I was right gentlemen...
I love how Furi and Mel will now proceed to aim for the last word.

9000th post in ITCC? Blasphemy!

Also, Akmuq, which statement did I make about ToCA, that can be easily verified by someone who doesn't have replays from both ToCA and ITCC?

The only statement I made was that ToCA wasn't as clean as ITCC. Well, in Race 3 of ITCC, ITCC had an incredible 0 crashes, and very minor car contact. So, ToCA can't improve on that. :sly:

But, I understand your point. I'm not mentioning ToCA anymore, and neither is anyone else.

ITCC and ToCA are different. They're separate. We'll leave each other alone, and co-exist. No more stirring each other's pots.

So am I allowed to race or not next week?

Also who did furi take out twice?

If you could do a summary post of everything that happened in the last few pages that would be nice, would mean I wouldn't have to read through this pointless junk.

Furi took you out, twice, actually.

And, if you promise not to call the series a shambles and blow your lid, you're still welcome. I'm just tired of hearing people who already have their own touring car series complain about the way I run mine.

It's not that I don't value criticism, when it's worded as such, but saying "this is a waste of time, you forgot to change the lap count" like Furi did, and then proceeding to get all angry and things because of it... I don't appreciate that.

The point is to have fun. If I make a mistake as the Series Director, and then proceed to apologize for it, don't make a scene about it. I apologized, and it's nothing more than a small mistake. There was no need for a temper-tantrum.

And, since you happened to know the OP better than I did :dopey: (silly me, I forgot to edit the OP!?) I trust that you won't stop in the middle of a rolling start.

Furi took you out, twice, actually.

Don't want to be argumentative but he didn't take me out. I pushed into him and hit the grass, then tried to hold it round the outside and ran out of grip. As funny as it would be to see furi get a penalty, he wasn't at fault for either. :scared:

Ok now I'm back and I'm seeing that things are coming to an understanding :)

Right, I still haven't gotten any PMs about driving conduct:

So, I'll post my "short and sweet explanation" of what happened:

  • Someone forgot to read the OP, stopped in the middle of the track during a rolling start - read the OP please, everyone!
  • I made a mistake, forgot to change lap count, and apologized. Sorry!
  • Arguments followed: please don't treat me like I'm not human, and not allowed to make mistakes
  • Furinkazen called my racing series "a shambles" because I forgot the lap count
  • Tempers flared during the intermission between Race 1 and Race 2, and after Race 2.
  • Driving conduct was good for the full-round, minus those concerns which have been addressed privately.
  • ITCC Round 3 will continue as planned, Trial Mountain Circuit coming up on Friday, Sept. 27th
  • No penalties are given
  • Furinkazen, DK will not be returning to ITCC. DK chooses to leave.

Now, I will just put forth a recommendation: be polite! I think everyone said things that they're not proud of, in the heat of the moment.

I apologized, personally, to those whom I may have offended, and who weren't doing anything wrong.

To those of you who made negative comments about the ITCC's organization and structure, I made one mistake. I promptly corrected it and apologized. Don't make such a big deal out of it!

New information:

tbwhhs and sakery are being put on Factory SEAT team "SEAT Autosport," a team founded by tbwhhs.

tbw will use red car with black rims, sakery will continue using his yellow car with red rims.

👍

Points in Post #3 updated from gokartman's registration to ITCC, which changed the qualifying totals, and drivers who chose to leave were removed from the points tables. Points up-to-date as of Round 1.

You can also see the full break-down of points, in the future, at the bottom of the points in Post #3.

Can I just put forward a question, did you see the contact between me and a Honda in race 3, second racing lap, turn 1?

@ Turbo_snail, I agree; that's a bit rough for conduct.

However, I believe it was part of the other driver's disconnection. The driver disconnected 7 seconds after the contact was made. I don't normally give penalties to those who disconnect immediately after contact.

If you would like me to further investigate, and consider a penalty, I will PM the video to the other stewards, you, and the other driver involved. Their decision will be final, and subject only to the other driver's appeal, as per the Original Post's Appeal System.

So, it's up to you...

If thats the case how the heck does that get misinterpreted:crazy: Problems are kinda gonna follow from such misjudgements.

 indeed!

And braun was a tw@ anyway, unlike Furry who really isn't out there to start an unnecessary :censored:storm. :dopey:

I only know what appears to be, not what truly is, the thoughts that go through his head.

Anyways, I'm getting some good pictures and videos from all three races. The front group (gokartman, Jammy, buck, and I) all had some epic racing! 👍

There was contact before the chicane at the top of the hill, but i then had the line, ran wide and stuck it in the wall. And the second one I was trying to hold the line (a gap which wasn't really there) and got squeezed. Both incidents could have been prevented by me, although the replay shows differently.

Its one of those incidents that would be read differently by two different stewards. It's just two incidents happened in one race, between the same two people after some very close racing. :)

very close racing. :)

Yeah, no worries then, gokartman. I'll live it up that you admit that it's close racing, but, if it's no problem then it's no problem.

Trial Mountain: Any specific track bound? Driving lines? There few corners that need to be cleared how to drive them.

First two corners: recommend two wheels curb-hopping. This was a very prevalent advantage in Season II, and I liked the flow through the corners. Four wheels off = penalty

Turn with yellow lines before longer tunnel: corner-cutting defined by the wall; don't hit the wall, monkeys.

90 degree corner tunnel: corner-cutting defined by two wheels on, two off OK.

final chicane: cutting the jump with all four wheels will land a DSQ. Two wheels okay.

I'll post up a video with dirty laps and clean laps. This time, though, the flow of the race track will be most important, given the momentum/flow of the race. I don't want to have people using different racing lines, unintentionally dive-bombing or anything like that.

Update: Points are now updated (ignore the third post, though) on Google Documents.

Work is underway for ITCC Magazine Issue #3. Two drivers have been contacted for interviews. The remaining two are being contacted very shortly.

I never saw the second issue of the magazine posted. Which page is it on?

nas hasn't posted it. He's done it, and it's brilliant, but he hasn't posted it.

I got two points for round one qualifying

gokartman registered for the series, technically. Via PM, but he did. So, he gets his pole position, knocks everyone down in points; including me, too.
