How common are the AK hard tops over in the states?

Import tax and postage makes them as rare as rocking horse 🤬 over here.

Looks good though, loving the arches too.

They are only common here in Southern California. And by common I mean I know of 5 others locally. It helps that the manufacturer is here too.

Arches are also by AK. :)

Timing belt fixed. I also changed the tensioners so the car runs really nice right now.

Added stainless lines for the rear. (All they had in stock was orange)

Added some titanium bolts to the steering wheel. It's complete!

Went to Buttonwillow again. Best time was a 2:11.8 on 13CW. Not bad for only my second time there.

Until I managed to have a bit of an off haha.

Car needs new tires and a racing seat. I keep sliding around haha.

I would recommend at least a 4 or 5 point harness too. I never realized you are not set up with a harness yet. I don't even see a should strap. Are you using just a lap belt?

Aw, goodbye lip. Well, now you can start on that extreme aero package and LS7 swap you wanted (:

Once I install a seat, harnesses will be installed as well. I'm just using the OEM belts now (Shoulder and lap).

Aero package yes! No LS haha.

I don't really like Mx5s as I've said many times before but every shot of your car I see it just looks more and more awesome. The wheels, arches and roof give it the perfect mini race car look. đź‘Ť
Thanks! It's really becoming into the vision I had when I first started working on it.

Yes. Maybe that's just me that likes a colour scheme and some accents? You don't want some rainbow mess going on. :P But what am I saying, I'd probably have bought those gauges by now. They're so ridiculous so jdm it's awesome.

I dig it but it bothers me that the numbers don't switch sides with the script once on the other side, it's like the km/h and mph switched over 80, just less confusing of course

Gauges installed. I cut the back part of the needle and painted them gold.

Aaaaaaaaaah duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude the sakuras light up in pink! That is the most awesome thing I've ever seen a Miata do! :dopey:
I know! I was super stoked when I saw it light the first time. My friend's gauges are equally as cool too. Same company made them.
