A ton of photos don't appear on this thread anymore :( .
Really? I'll go through and clean it up.

Found the dials on Clubroadster, a Miata forum. Bought off a private seller.

EDIT: I cleaned up a lot of pics from earlier in the thread. Also added a complete mod list.

Any chance you'd disclose how much you've spent on this car overall?

Still love how this is progressing, and I like the sound of white ceramic-coated pipes.

However, the steady mixture of different colours is beginning to make my twitch  Montego blue + tan + white steering wheel + pink sakura dials + whatever colour it is Wats?...

You're forgetting the gold valve cover lol (:

Haha I know. Carpeting and seats will be changed. Black seats for sure, haven't decided on carpeting yet. Steering wheel will probably changed to black suede for track use.

That sounds a great deal easier on the eye. I quite like the Liberace-style wheel but combined with the other factors it doesn't quite gel! The dials are awesome enough that I'd consider them myself though. As a highlight to an otherwise standard interior they'd be quite interesting.

Agreed. Just wish the gauges were in Imperial measurements. Maybe Revlimiter can make me some.

This is like my favourite thread ever.
Thanks! :)

So uhh. Had some car problems last night. The wheel came off. After years of properly torquing wheels I made a mistake. Holes in the wheel are rounded out, so I won't be able to use it for the track this weekend. Thankfully I have my 13s. Was able to get it over to the shoulder easily, so I think I can just replace the rotor (don't think it scraped the subframe). I'll change the wheel studs too for safety.

I know right? Just put the lip on Sunday. I've certainly learned something here. Glad I was on a side street and not the highway.

Did the wheel got too damaged? or, you know, the car somewhere?
I think the wheel can be repaired. The holes are rounded out and theres a blemish on the lip however. I'm going to change the wheel studs out to ARPs, change the rotor and the lugs. I don't think it hit the control arm or subframe as I was able to move the car easily afterwards.

I'm surprised you didn't feel anything driving down the road before it came off.
I was feeling a vibration, but couldn't tell where it was coming from. We even jacked the car up after work and checked to see if it was a bearing, but the wheel didn't move at all, the bearings are tight. I'm thinking the lugs just weren't tight enough. Usually I hand tighten the lugs then use the torque wrench. I must've seen the lugs on the studs and not double checked. Shame on me.
