Ah yes, I do remember that photo, but didn't register them as 13s. There's something I like about the tall tire look but they do look a bit lost under those wide fenders, and given the extra visual mass of the hard top.
I have some spacers for it if I decide to get street tires for them, but I wouldn't run the spacers on track.Ah yes, I do remember that photo, but didn't register them as 13s. I know haha. Only issue is that I don't think they will fit up against my 99 year cylinder head I'm going to use, as this is for 94-97 models. I'll have to do more research. There's a company that makes an adapter for Toyota AE101 throttles to the Miata head, but I'm not sure these have the same bolt pattern as the AE101s.
Looks like it might be the unit in the 2nd picture.
This roof kinda does that. At the rear of the roof where it meets the trunk, there are two holes that had to be drilled in order to seat the roof properly. Some good sized bolts were sourced to keep the top in place. A hardtop Miata is certainly more rigid than an open top, but not as much as a true coupe of course. That's what the roll bar is for hehe.Out of interest, is it possible to install an aftermarket roof to an open top car in a manner that effects the torsional rigidity?
Also, that first shot in the above post is gorgeous.
I'm considering changing the flare as I kinda don't like the shape of it. Rear will stay the same.Oh damn. Looking at widening it even more? (:
Yeah, I love the rears.Yeah don't change the rears, those are awesome.
