It would then probably also make sense asking if we could have the old and the new Rome track joined together too, as they have some sections in common!

 
I think Famine and the GTP Crew should take a video camera with them so we can all see thier goofy endeavor.

..I think that if you guys expose this initiative at sony's/PD's PR.... ..well.. they can't refuse questions.. :sly: ..maybe they can understand how much we love them and GT and how much we're waiting for this creaure.. 👍

I am sorry I can not donate right now. I live in Mexico city with my GF right now and I am on a tight budget(will be home by end of September).

But here are some of my questions.

1. Is multi-screen supported in GT5, and will it work with GT and online modes as well?
2. Will day and night cycle work on all locations?
3. Any possiblity for rain effects, even light rain, or at least fog effects?
4. Will GT5 have full support of FANATEC wheels?
5. In GT mode, will players be able to race full grid of 16 for most circuits just like in Prologue? Same goes for NASCAR.
6. Can the PS3 handle full 16 car grid with full damage as well day and night cycle?
7. Mr. Kaz, (or Mr. PD staff) what do you think GT fans would be most suprised by?

I've temporarily removed the link - I want to make arrangements so I know exactly what is going out and to where, so that people aren't donating to anything that isn't necessary for the journey alone.

For the amount of justice Famine dishes out he should be paid on a regular basis.

Anyways question: What is your ultimate vision for Gran Turismo? What would make the game perfect to you and PD?

Last time I checked, it's voluntary. The people who actually want to see :GTPlanet: represented at Gamescom have donated, because they have personal questions they can't ask KY. Unfortunately, I can't donate, but at least I've pitched in a good question I actually want answered. And there will be videos.....

Not to sound mean, but that sounds like more of a personal question, not something at a gaming expo.

Very sorry to here you have apparently been another casualty of the economic situation Famine.

Even so, likely you would not be able to undertake this endeavor were it not the case. At least in time not money.

My question is whether or not GT5 will have any kind of points system like the Aspec in GT4?

You tell it how much you want to pay in GBP and then it will tell you what the US$ equivalent is before you finalize your order.

But unless exchange rates changed in the last few hours $16.10 is £10. I assume that means £1 = $1.61. although based on The Vanishing Boy's figures £1 = $1.70. I guess The Fed moves today messed with the currency rates.

I see now. I just clicked on it and I get the same screen. It wasn't doing that earlier.
 
I would donate but for the following reasons.
1.I have no money (I owe my dad £200)
2. I have no paypall or credit card and my dad won't let me borrow his because of (see point 1)
3. I have more than 15 infraction points. (Some from famine but I was abit of a numpty so I deserved them and don't hate famine because of it.)


Anyway hope you have fun at gamescom, I hope you meet Kaz.

I would like to contribute to this worthwhile endeavor, but I too am getting the "Return to Merchant" screen, and it won't let me proceed. Is there another method that can be used?

I tried again and the system was working so I have sent a contribution. Enjoy the trip!

Unfortunately, I still have another snag.
I havn't logged on to my PayPal account in so long I can't remember the correct Email and password. So I'll have to wait till my wife gets home to complete the transfer.

Well I agree I didn't know the exact details, and I apologize if my initial reaction was too harsh. Never meant to hurt so many peoples feelings!!!

Anyway, as the situation is marginally better financially this way to Famine (without a job)

snip... it's marginally more beneficial to us to have someone normally at home than it is to have two salaries and no-one normally at home.

..and couldn't understand the real situation. Of course I assumed a job would be generally financially beneficial but it seems there is at least one situation where it isn't. Never thought that would be possible. Live and learn.

"Is the slipstreaming effect adjustable in private room environment (online) / have you tried to get it as realistic as possible?"
