Of course I assumed a job would be generally financially beneficial but it seems there is at least one situation where it isn't. Never thought that would be possible. Live and learn.
The systems and laws in place over here can help a person at home, sometimes more than when he or she goes and gets a job.
If Famine were to go flip burgers at Snackdougals, he'd be worse off, but to get another job re-aligning the Large Hadron-Collider is pretty tricky too, and seeing as his theory proved them all wrong last time he was there, they aren't too keen to take him back.
No-one likes a smartass.
It's fair enough of you to find the idea of unemployment being a good thing strange, Timo. I have absolutely no knowledge of how Finnish laws and benefits work, and I'm sure you could surprise me with some of them, not to mention make me jealous that I don't live there. 👍
Famine, why can't I come? That's not my question, but I have thought of a couple:
"We've held regular LANs using GT3 and GT4, but I've never been able to get the results up afterwards, why is this?"
"Is LAN mode included?, otherwise I really will be bored next year..."
"Does a 24hr Nurburgring race encompass weather, and day/night cycles, plus affect the physics?, after all, a track is slipperier (try translating that one) in the early hours of the morning."
"Will I be able to emulate the weather and track conditions of the circuit location in real time?, Is that why you include this data, floating around the screen in GT5P?"
"I want to race around Bathurst. Can I use the Track Editor to create this, or do I wait until PD have done it, then download the official version?"
"Will there be a competition in the future for a track created by a player using the editor to be officially produced by PD as DLC?"
"Do you go 'ring-blind' after racing for a while in the 24hr, and cannot remember for the life of you, which corner is next?"
There, that'll do.
I meant what I said about the keyring.
Have fun.
