Essentially because I want people to decide if they want to donate and then choose how much. I don't really want them to be guilted into a value that they'd arrive at by dividing the running total by the number of contributors.

And I think I'm going to pull the link shortly anyway - those who want to contribute but couldn't/haven't can help the next GTP-appointed correspondant.

That makes sense, but please do give us a final total once you close the link for good. It would be good to see how well we have done as a group.

I'm not sure. If the Fair Koln supports a wireless connection, I can upload a limited amount of pictures and text in situ (the bottleneck will be my laptop). The hotel I've opted for, as well as being cheap, has free WiFi, so I can upload huge chunks in time for lunchtime in the USA - and I'm sure gNNY will be able to achieve better results when he arrives home (I believe he said he's half an hour away).

Has there been any details of available services (i.e. Wi-Fi) with the press credentials confirmation? If the venue doesn't have free public Wi-Fi then maybe gNNY could look into the cost of getting a pre-pay/pay-as-you-go mobile broadband modem/dongle. In the UK you can get one with 1GB of data for £30.

How bad is the laptop, has Venari got a better one you could take?

Do you have any plans of creating a totally new racing/driving game (sim not arcade) fully independent from Sony?

If so, is there going to be a PC version as well?

Come on this board has so much members, Jordan is making so much money only with adsense... I know this because I´m in nearly the same business and know how much boards like this make...

In germany was an gulli board and that guy was making 12.000€ a month nearly only with adsense...

I also wonder that the news on the news page comes almost from gtp members... also gtp is never there where GT is... It´s the biggest GT community and there were never an interview or something with Kaz... GTP never went to the PD studios...

- Is there going to be 'official' racing series run by PD/sony?
- Are the tt leaderboards separated by manual / auto clutch? And has the 'clutch cheat' been disabled?

My questions are:

1) I know you already intend to push for answers about LAN play. But it's the whole reason I started this thread. https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=127269 And I feel it's important enough that it warrants a 'seconded' vote.

2) If you have the chance to speak to Kaz, I'd be curious to know, when he compares driving a high performance car on a track and drives that same car in GT5 and closes his eyes and compares the two experiences, what's one feature that he'd really love to be able to implement, but time, money and the current technical limitations of the PS3 just won't allow.

Wifi is available via the press center for free so that shouldn't be too much of a problem. 3G is a possibility but depends on network availability. Also, uploading videos through 3G would be a pain especially the HD stuff. But pictures and text could go straight into the cloud - if the network coverage will allow so.

It's not condescending, Sometimes people make mistakes, It took me 5 years to become fluent in hiragana,Katakana and to know about 650 kanji words. And even still, I still make mistakes, But that's normal for me. Just like i make mistakes in English, i make mistakes in Japanese. 👍

But if your are with the press, you should have access to facilities providing everything you need.
