I don't know if you're referring to good news New York but I'm no associated with that organization at all. And, no, I won't wear a baseball cap because it'll just be in the way. If I would wear one it would probably be a Lego or a WoW baseball cap as those two are the ones I own.... *heh*
 
My question(s) to Kaz:

Being a perfectionist, how do you feel about having the 80:20 split between standard and premium cars in GT5? In hindsight, do you think it would have been better to focus on one high LOD for all models and aimed for a car count somewhere between the two with consistent visual damage and features?

The graphics of the Gran Turismo series have always been praised. However, many think the sound is not up to the same level of quality. How do you plan on addressing the concerns of those who think GT's graphics and sound are not on equal playing fields?

Maybe if you lavish a bit of praise on the (apparent) technical achievements behind GT5:P's sound engine first, then sneak Earth's question in...?

You know I'm quite excited about all of this... Not just because of the anticipation of new info, but because of the exposure GTP will get, and the fact that we're helping out the ISR boys and gals; fortuitous, maybe, but significant? Probably...

Nope I wasn't. I was asking because if you were going to be wearing a baseball cap with gNNY on it, you were going to be recognizable.

I still don't know if I'm going to attend or not.

Do you have to remove a Lego haircut before putting on a Lego baseball cap?
If so, that might indeed be inconvenient.....;)
 
I would ask Kaz a couple questions, have tons more.

- Up to this point we have only seen rolling starts, is there any plans for grid starts?.

- Will there be races in which both standard & premiums cars will be on the track at the same time?.

If not, what kind of technique did you use?
 
Another one for Kaz: In GT5 you can have your custom soundtrack while racing. What tunes come out of your speakers when you put the pedal to the metal?

Question for Kaz: Does he mind everybody on this forum calling him simply Kaz or does he have his own suggestion for a nickname or a full title ( Lord Kazzington for example ) which we should use preferably when speaking of him? ;)
 
We know his name at Twitter is Kaz_Yamauchi so it's quite a safe bet. But always better be safe than sorry I guess.

Anyone knows what are the exact times for the game show? How long is it, and when is the sony press conferance? Any live streams? as well what time will it be in the USA eastern time?

Will I be able to drive the reasonably priced car (Kia Cee'd) around the top gear test track and enter my time into an official time board that will eventually decide who goes onto the show and meets clarkson, stiggy etc and does it for real to see if gamers are as good in real life as they are on a driving game?

Let's say you've been kidnapped by a powerful wizard, and there is no escape. You've been asked to make a choice. First choice: he will let you go, under the condition that he will destroy the automobile (as an entity). There will be no more cars, or motorsport, or racing of any kind whatsoever in this world. Everyone will forget such a thing ever existed. Second choice: he will trap you forever, but the motoring world will live on. Which choice will you make?

Bottom line: do you love cars more than you love yourself Kaz?

Alternatively question, if the above is too silly:

GT-R R34 or NSX-R? :D

What was the inspiration behind the GT symbol? And why is it blue-red and not the other way round (or even a completely different colour)?

All three elephants claim to be innocent, but you have no evidence to suggest which one is telling the truth. You have only 20 seconds to decide, to which elephant do you give the pink sock and do you think the monkeys would have enjoyed GT5?
