I loved Marky's question:

Does Translator-san know he has become a celebrity at GTP?

LOL!!👍
Haha!! I would love to see Translator-san 's response when he is asked to translate that for Kaz...then Kaz's look back at him like...well do you? lol!!
That would be comedy GOLD!! You will get some spontanious reactions for sure.:D

My god that's genius. Kaz just looking up and saying "well, DO YOU?
Imagine the look on translator-san's face when he gets that response!

A little question for Lord Kazzington:

We know the detailing of the Premium models is nearly insane, we know you guys laser-scanned many of these Premium cars, are they really future-proof, meaning they'll be in every iteration in the game from now on? And if they indeed are, is this the car library you described as part of your complete GT vision?

I have a question even if its a long shot, like in a million years long shot.

In the future, would you(Kaz) consider expanding Polyphony Digital into other regions. Not just a Japan developer but European and North American. Perhaps have region developed expansions and content to be released worldwide. Reducing workloads on PD Japan and giving higher numbers of high quality content in less time.

Imagine Future GT games with localized content joined into one massive GT game.

Yeah that would be so much better than waiting 10 years to get the same amount of content you could get in 2 or 3 years with different regions.
Good Idea

The problem with that is a quality control issue. PD doesn't outsource anything. Everything they make is done in house in their studio in Japan. That allows them to keep a standard that they're happy with. Once you start having stuff built outside of your studio then you can start running into problems.

Yep, valid point. But what if PD get the most senior professionals in the crew and send them to manage offshore teams? Which would be composed by local professionals (Preferably car enthusiasts ;)), they would have direct access to the actual vehicles without having to travel 8 thousand miles to take a glance at a new model. It could work.

That is what I mean development time could be cut well in half. And that would also give them more time to implement more features and more cars.

Thats exactly what I'm talking about. Its not out sourcing, its expanding.

I'd rather them keep their one building in Tokyo as I'd rather them hire more staff that's all they need. We don't want the GT series to turn into the Call Of Duty series where quality goes out the window, and when it comes to expanding you have to consider everything, Q&A, Equipment, Salaries for over 150 employees, and building a new studio which would cost them Millions. :nervous:

+1 to that!

Two buildings you mean, don't you. ;) The other one is where they develope GT5 online mode.

Could You ask about MLAA [morphological antyaliasing] ?:>
Its a post process anty-aliasing technique used in God of War 3 and published for all 1st and 3rd studios and its really good, cheap and effective.
I mean mostly if Polyphony was experimenting with it at all, like with temporal AA [flicker option in TT demo] and if they did, what were results and why its not implemented [or it is] in GT 5. And what about an option of turning on MLAA for Menu/Photomode locations/Replay mode [MLAA is made on CELL, so without physic calculation and 60 fps there should be quite many SPU time on spare].

I think its quite important question, because MLAA gives basically for close and med range object almost supersampled quality like here

As much as I support this question/feature I think it's more interesting to ask questions not related to features of GT5 because we'll get the answer in a few months anyway (hopefully) and talking to KY about features not yet revealed could be difficult.

Here are my ideas:

And one that's been raised already.[/smartass]

:irked:👍

Here's a good one:

Since damage is in, will you be able to literally rattle your cars apart if you go too fast? I mean, all cars have a lateral terminal velocity which, if they go over, can rip the vehicle apart. Will we see vehicle terminal velocity effects in GT5?

Yeah that would be cool. Thats a good idea.

Are you insane? I don't think that will be in the game! I don't want to be paying for that damage!

Will there be a NASCAR GTAcademy?

Good question. But I think something tells me that the GT licence modes will include some NASCAR lessons. But as long they explain the NASCAR rules, I will be happy.

Q: If you were just a regular guy (not working on GT5) and you would have a chance to see the full version of GT5 before anyone else, what would be your reaction?

Famine: Will the question you pick from the ones submitted in this thread be in addition to the list Jordan is running from the news page?

How excited are you now it's confirmed you're in the private breakout session and you're getting an interview with Kaz :D

We'll pick the bestest questions from here and there, yes. Many of the suggested GT-related ones are already on my list. :D

I'm still concentrating on the part where we drive there. I'll think about what I'm doing there when I'm there

Hey Famine, will you be using the GTP twitter account or do you have your own?

Also I wish you all the best, would add to the fund but have been unable to get a job over the summer!

I'm still concentrating on the part where we drive there.
On the right hand side if I understand correctly. :D

.... and don't forget to drive forward and not in reverse. Just trying to help out. ;)

cologne is ~1hour away from me with/by the train
XD i will be there and i will play the gt5 demo for the first time
i am so happy xd
