I could use the d-pad as well as I use the analouge sticks now, it seems no advantage to me, trust me I could be really precise with the d-pad.

Now i'm talking about GT3. You think you have wouldn't have an advantage having more precise control over how far the wheel turns?

I can get just as much out of the d-pad as I could the analouge sticks, anyway this is a bit off-topic.

I had a Rocket Launcher left over from a previous mission. Seriously, if you have one, use it. It blows up 2 machines with 1 hit. No need to bother with a Shotgun in that case. :D

Actually, I had an RPG as well, but I found the shotgun much easier and faster.

I mastered the D-Pad in every game possible. Although I really like the Analog Stick now.

Eventually, the analog sticks will prevail. I don't think I even knew the use of them just as some kind of decoration when I first got my PlayStation.

I'm having trouble with the Grove 4 Life mission, I don't know why either, I just keep getting wasted :(. I don't think there can really be any advice but I guess I'll just have to stick at it.

I can't remember the last time I used the D-Pad. With the Analogue stick you have more control over steering and moving. I started using it in GT3 and it improved my skills greatly so I used them ever since.
Yeah ive gotten quite used to the Analogue in SA now and find it quite good, still dunno if its better then D-pad, i guess old habits die hard.

Also i could'nt think of using Analogue for GT3, im just too used to D-pad, i think id probably end up worse for it. I find it too touchy for control in racing games.

Also you should bring back youe Led zep avatar!:)

I think you'd be a lot better now, although it would still take a lot of getting sued to. I remember when I actually had GT3, I tried it for a while, and I started to become decent with it. Still, I was better with the D-Pad. I really want to get used to the Analog Stick for all games now, though.

Anyway, this has really gone off-topic...

Who needs help on Las Venturas? :)

You said there really can't be much advice, and there isn't.

I'm getting really good at the Gang Wars now. I've never started any with Body Armour. Just stock up on weapons. Actually, I'll give you a few tips.

Find a place where they can't come from too many directions. In this case, find a house, and head up onto the front lawn or driveway. That way, they can only come from 1 direction. Make sure Sweet keeps with you, as Ambulances get in the thick of this one, and one time they ran him over. The key to Gang Wars is placement.

Help?

the key to gang wars is m4, i was untochable for 54 territorys, and make sure you know where the armor is just in case.

i used the anologue in vice and gt3, so it wasnt a change at all in SA for me.

I was using the m4, but I think I know my prolem. I concentrate too much on enemies that are far away and tend not to ntcie those near me that are shooting me. That'll have to be rectafied.

yes, once you shoot the closer ones its easy as normally i could shoot all the gang members and only one or two would get a shot off at me.

I found a good method in the more Open Area Gang Wars today. I was up in Las Colinas on the very North East. There is an elevated road that arches up, and then back down, and next to it is the Main Road. I would grab a bike, start the war down there, stay down there on the Bike, then as soon as they spawned, I would ride on top of the Arched road, and shoot from there.

But the key isn't the M4. I've used the MP5 and AK47 the whole time, for every single one, and I've owned alot. The AK is very useful, as is the M4. But I tend to swap around. I use the AK for long distance shooting, and the MP5 for close range stuff. Works very well. AK or M4, it's all the same.

double post . just remembered my little brother found out that u dont need to date Milli to get the key card just kill here and u get a phonecall that says that u will have to 'break in'
( the door is open ) . probably been mentioned before but couldn't find it. It's quite a bit quicker

I just get on any roof top with an M4 and I'm unvincble ( probably spelt wrong )
Yes, 'i' is spelled 'i', not 'u' (invincible)

I only used the AK because it's what the defenders use, so there's no chance of running out of ammo.
Also, the minigun is great if you can see a whole big group coming at you clearly (fire in bursts to conserve ammo).
