hi guys,

i am not sure if its me or anyone else but i am testing the car in nurbergring gp/f track and everytime i brake hard to 1st corner the car is so unstable and starts moving to the right (or left) basically it isnt stable ina straight line when braking.

Am i missing a trick or is my tune crap or can someone advise?

LFA is a twitchy car IRL as well, thus, it's not a trick or such that you've missed. Try having less rear brake balance and increase LSD Decel value. Also, if you wish, try the setup I've made, can be found from the last page of the thread in my sig.

Try a 6/5 or 6/4 brake balance. If that doesn't work, then something is off with your tune. It's not the best braking car I've ever seen but it's pretty good, so long as your tune is balanced and the brake balance is right for this car.

I will publish my LFA tune here tomorrow, it is the first car I tuned myself, at the Nordschleife. no calculators, just mind theory, cause and effect practice setups. I spent 4 evenings on it, and can Lap the Nür practice , real settings, no aids, 1ABS, at 6:39s (50 seconds faster than stock) Racing Softs, Zero Oversteer/Understeer as long as you "know" what to do when going at 315km/hr in a $600K car through elevation changes. :) Throttle control and track knowledge are key.

Very little to no wheel cambers, no front toe, mild springs, mild dampers, medium Antiroll, equal ride hight. Very low brake bias (I think this car has dedicated industrial quad brake calipers and pistons, so no need for amplification), <=== any higher settings makes the car worse

From memory, 1st time split at 1:13:7xx, 2nd time split 1:39:9xx. Tranny set to gun around like a 1100CC Superbike in high rev nonstop.

unfortunately, my tune suffers a bit; for the car really doesn't shine "as well" in the second half of the track. If I can tweak it to maintain the flow of the 1st half, I can reduce the time to 6:29 for sure.

p.s I have no idea yet how it performs online, but I won't care until after Spec 2.0

The beauty of tuning your first car, is that it comes alive as you tune it to your own driving style of said car and track. Even the best tuned cars published here, are not necessarily tuned to your own driving style, especially track. But most tune cars in here, are however, exceptional nevertheless.

Can someone post a good 575pp LFA tune please? This is one car I can't get right at all.
It is a pushy twitchy car it feels like you are driving the car wile sitting on the roof not in the seat.
If that makes any sense!

Thanks I will try them asap! If I could get it to grip like a r8 and between the bends run like a ZR1 then
That would be what I am looking to get out of it. There are people that have them dialed real nice and on the track I following a LFA with a 458 and get walked on on the straight. I have got to get me one of those.

Try adding rear positive toe? I run mine at 550PP at nurburg and a +0.10 on the rear works fine with 0.2 camber for the rear.
