flat-out, try to uninstall it. Just deleting files to get rid of a program is always a bad idea! It doesn't get rid of the info in the registery and leaves files in other folder's you don't even know exist!

Also, thanks for the welcome! I will start with this week, week 47.

I know about the uninstall stuff. But how bad deleting an executable file can be, no one ever comes back after having been deleted. Only Micro$oft .exe can do it.

I don't think you can uninstall Internet Explorer, anyway. The shell Windows uses is completely integrated with Internet Explorer, and vice-versa. Uninstall Internet Explorer and you won't be able to browse any of your folders, either. The only thing you can uninstall, under Add/Remove Programs, is the Internet Explorer icon, which is located in your Start menu.

Firefox is 1*10^(1 million) times better, anyway. Why would you want to use Explorer in the first place? :D

EDIT: I just noticed you were talking about Internet Explorer 7. Just took a quick look at the preview tour. Wow, they have tabbed browsing now. Thing that Firefox had since forever... :D

Hi everybody!👍👍👍

My name is Luke, A.K.A "GT Planet's Most Infamous Member"...just joking.:)

Im 13 and have been playing the Legendary, yet...still legendary Gran Turismo series!👍

Sorry, not trying to bluff here but the leaderboard times are pretty lame. (I've pretty much broken every single track record except for Le Mans and the 'Ring, Is anyone actually trying?:scared:

I'm looking heaps forward to this Series but unfortuneatly I don't think it's gonna be much of a challenge, considering I've nearly set a World GT Record on a certain track, but yet to confirm.👍

Lol, I don't mean to be all bragging and stuff but that is why i'm "infamous" cause I seem to have a problem pissing people off.

P.S
are there any people out there who wanna take me one on one at Opera Paris or at Nurburgring', sorry, don't worry if you think you can beat me, I do tend to annoy the hell out of people but anyways...

BRING IT ON RACE SERIES!!!!!

Bring it on mate 👍
We are ready for ya ;)
BTW what division did you qualify in?
What are some of your times?
And finally do you have a maxdrive to prove your replays?

Welcome to the WRS Luke.
Actually, you are bragging, but I wouldn't call you infamous. Childish certainly, arrogant too, but not infamous. Infamous implies a notoriety that you don't have.
I deleted 2 or your posts, since they were carbon copies of your first post. Hope you don't mind.

Take time to read carefully the sticky threads in the WRS forum, and submit your time to me when you think you achieved a great lap.

Well what can I say about GT Pro's post that hasn't been said by Cyril and Daan? Nowt really!

But I do have one question......
GT Pro's Profile

If at 13, you are an 'Automotive designer', what brand of crayons do you use?:sly:

LOL, I liked that so much I had to post my approval. Good one mate 👍

Wow, I got a good laugh at the above posts. Wouldn't it be funny if that kid really was fast?

Anyway, I guess I was a contributor to an uprising over at week 46 WRS, but I must say that after just one week of racing my personal abilities have increased a ton. As a test, I went back to the dreaded License Center and to my surprise began to get some GOLD! 👍

(for me it's a big deal anyway)

I now make it a point to turn off all driver aids. Something I never did with GT2... (skipped over GT3 because of a woman. Now I have my priorities straight)

Thankyou WRS

Or perhaps he's a dyslexic 31 years old automotive designer :D

BTW, nice to see you pop in from time to time Jerry

I'm dying to see GT Pro race :) I bet Dan is champing at the bit too...I know Dan loves a challenge. If there was a book on the one on one challenge I think it'd be:

Dan: $1.01
GT Pro: $50.00

I'm keen to see the outcome of a challenge, get your qual lap in GT Pro and you'd best have a replay device :sly:

I've just been doing the same thing recently and knocking my own socks off. It doesn't take me very long to Gold most to the licenses, and I've even golded two or three of them on my first attempt!

I was suitably chuffed for a couple of days. 👍

As for a our new friend here, I've no problems with you racing in the WRS. But, if you're going to be a **** about it (like your above post), well... I have faith in the mods to sort that out.

I restarted a new game recently, and it's much easier to gold licences on the first attempt than it was last year when the game came out.

And here's my tool to sort things out

welcome to the series gtpro, ur an aussie from melbourne;)

be prepared to be beaten severly by the majority of racers though.

That's it...

I'm restarting my whole gtplanet Membership again "CLEAN!!!' of anything i've ever said here on gtplanet.com (well most of it, anyway)

Don't bother replying to this name for now on.

I "ADMIT", YES "ADMIT" I say stuff without thinking stuff through or sometimes it's not always true but im going to start under a new name and new attitude I still might brag a bit but oh well.

I'll be back on this thread and will tell you my new name then but yer...

so long...............

you dont need to come back with a different name
just a different attitude

im sure you are probly pretty quick, but theres one thing you missed
and that is you were comparing all your times to the GTP database
if you were to compare your times at GTRP's database im pretty sure you would go and hide

All these arrogant Melburnians, someone should show them a lesson or two...(Anyway, everyone here knows I'm the best...) :sly:

Only joking mate. May I ask which part of Melbourne you hail from?

Hey Casio, The place in Victoria I live in is "Tyabb" if you've heard of that place anyway.👍

i have never heard of that place. ok, thats a good idea to change ur name and start fresh, as u r not liked by anyone at gtplanet.

And we all hate you, cause you're too damn fast! :sly: I just found that GTRP site. My GOD man, are you living on the same planet?

Well, I'm coming at ya again :)

I got my Max Drive last week, but due to the fact I'm totally addicted to Winning Eleven 9, I have forgotten to send my time.

Oh and I already downloaded a saved game with loads of cars and 100% complete lol, I was already about the finish the game when my data got corrupted, so whatever :P

I'll send my time in a bit and we'll see in what division I'll be.

See ya on the next weekly race series :)

Hi everyone.

New to the forums here. I found GtP when looking for some GT4 info thru Google.

Some info on me....My name is Homero, I'm 20 and live in Tucson, AZ. I enjoy partying w/ friends, playing GT4 and Madden, playing with my r/c nitro dirt truck, and just kickin it.

I haven't submitted my Qualifier Lap to flat-out yet but probably will today when I get home from work! Hopefully I will race for the first time this week...which sounds like a fun race BTW. I'm also bidding on a max-drive on eBay ATM so I can submit lap times 👍 Hopefully it works for me:scared:.

The WRS seems very fun and I can't wait to start participating and racing everyone!!:) I have seen nothing but sportsmanship form everyone too! Hehe I have been lurking around here for about a week or two.:dunce: Feels good to finally speak!

Welcome! We're always glad to have more racers... Make sure you spend a good few hours on that qualifier though! 👍

Welcome Homero.
As Kyle said, it's a good idea to put a sufficient amount of time in the Qualifier. What I suggest is that you run both the Qualifier and the weekly race, and you can submit everything (Qualifier and race #48) at the same time next tuesday.
Just make sure you don't miss the deadline.
And meanwhile, just join the weekly discussion to discuss T-times and settings.
👍

I'm new-ish?

I stubled upon this place last year looking to get GT4 working online.
I enjoy hanging out with my friends, talking about cars, playing GT4, and long walks on the beach (haha, had to put it in there). I use a DFP, and I can't play any driving game properly without it now, makes me feel naked.

I need to run and submit my qualifier laps and stuff still.

Welcome aboard.

Judging by flat-out's post above yours you can run this week and your qualifing race and submit them together at the end of the round. You'll be placed in a division the same time as the scores are posted. :)

Good luck. 👍

Hei everyone! I'm Grunde from Norway. I'm 24 yrs studying fish health at the University of Bergen, witch are on the west coast of Norway.

Since I am from Europe I am a big fan of soccer, and Liverpool FC is team in my heart. Likes different kinds of wintersports like telemark skiing and cross country. Play some badminton and volleyball, but just for fun.

Discovered this page a year ago, but haven't paid much attention to it until recently. I qualified for 2.div and my nick is valdleik.

Looking forward to try out these races and hopefully improve my GT4 driving skills a bit.

Norway may not be the most important country in the world, but we are pleased with two of the best rally drivers in the world Petter and Henning Solberg. Petter won the world campionship drivers title in 2003 and I believe many of you racing/rally fans have heard one or two things about him. He is a BIG star in Norway, and Japan because he drives for Subaru.

What else is it to tell about Norway....? Probably not much that would have any relevance to this forum, so I leave it there.

But if anyone have questions about "Who discovered America?" (neither Asterix nor Colombus) or "Does it rain in Bergen for 270 days a year?":indiff: , feel free to ask.

Have a nice day everyone:sly:

Who discovered America?

Does it rain in Bergen for 270 days a year?

Sorry, just had to do it ;) :D

Anyway, welcome to the WRS 👍
