My name is James. God this feels like the first day of school !!
Ive played GT since GT2. The only reason I have bought GT4 is for the WRS. Im heavily into HALO 2 and wouls say that I prefer to play HALO over GT anyday.
I am 26, 27 in December.
I live in Dewsbury, WestYorkshire.
I have a graden that is about 20 ft wide but its 100 ft long.
I have a cat called mischief
I live with my fiance called Rachel, who hates the PS2 and the X-Box.
We are getting married in June next year.
I am 6ft 7 inches tall.
I have size 14 feet.
I weigh 20 stone !!! Thats due to a little bit of a belly
I love drinking Stella.
I eat far too much.
I am a team leader for a very big insurance company.
I keep tropical fish and have a black shark thats about 6" long and I think its eating the other fish.
I dont have a car myself although I was once member of the "saxosports car club" and drove my car around silverstone race circuit.

Im in div 2 and have finished in 1st once, we were in a non-race car Corvette and we ran at Laguna Seca, which is my favourite race track.

I love Rugby League and support the Bradford Bulls.

Thats about it for now - I'll see you on the track !!

Hi guys (and girls :) ). The name's Bart and I'll be 30 in about 10 days (I hate to see that 3 replacing the 2 :P ). I live in Belgium, in a town near Antwerp.

I've been playing racing games since I was about 6 I suppose, the first one being 'night rider' (or something like that) on my dad's old Atari TV console thingy :-D Been doing Gran Turismo ever since the game first appeared (bought my first playstation just to play GT1 and got the PS2 for GT3). Besides my interest in cars and racing games, my biggest hobby is music. I play the bass (and a little bit of guitar), and I'm also a passionate snooker-fan (booooooring, I know :P), I also like to read once and a while.

As for my IRL cars, my every day car is 2001 Toyota Corolla 1.6 (again, boooooring, I know :P) / my 'weekend' car (and another hobby of mine) is my oldtimer 1978 Porsche 911 SC (really love driving it around).

I've discovered the WRS a while back (I think week 98 of GT3 WRS). I was in Div 2 in the GT3 WRS, but dropped to DIV3 with the start of GT4 WRS. Don't mind that really, I'm not one to stand in the spotlights, so I'm feelin' pretty comfy down in Div3. I also haven't got the time to really drive good times. Most weeks, if I scrap all little session together, I only get around to an hour max to spend at the WRS...

Anyway, that's about it, I think.

C you guys at the track

Welcome to OnlyMe, BigJamesGTI and Sphinx - glad to have some more competition on the circuit.

Good luck out there!

And I know what you mean about turning 30 (BigJames isn't far behind you) ;) I'm 36 and starting to look down the barrel to 40...

LOL I dont need reminding. I can't believe Im nearly 30, I act like Im about 15 all the time and it does her head in !!

Bah, I'm so bored. I don't think I've done one of these yet. So I will now.

My actual name is Brad, I hate it...
Although I am only 17, I've gone through two cars. Anyway, here is a picture of me, sitting on the ground. (My old car in the foregroud)

Was a pretty cool car, no one had ever seen one before because it was pretty rare, which is why I had to sell it, parts where just waaayyy to hard to find.

Here it is:

I bet no one knows what it is :) (Except you old chaps)

And just a general picture of me, it's about 8 months old.

Another old picture, I used to do a bit of achery, I can't believe I wore that shirt...(What an awesome shirt :))

And the best moment of my life, the 2004 Melbourne International Motor Show. I got to SIT IN A LIME GREEN SMART CAR!

Right now, I have no car, but I'm looking at getting a Saab 9000, mainly because it has headlamp wipers, which are dead cool. Also it has heated electric seats hmm...Now all I need is to work out how to insure it :ill:

I work in a Toy store over christmas, which is as much fun as you think. I usually work nights so after my shift I load up the store PS2 or Xbox or whatever, and play whatever game I want. Having a manager who is only 18, and a mind of a 10 year old is great too, we often unlock the bikes and have races around the store, singing ZZ Top's 'La Grange'.

I live in the beautiful city of Melbourne, nothing much happens here, and our Mayor can barely speak english. But we did hold an olympics once....

Hi im Kart.no.38, been around the boards for a while but have only grasped the idea and concept behind the WRS during the boards challenge. Lets see how it goes after the current (26) round!

Welcome kart!! đź‘Ť

Hope you enjoy it!

Look forward to chasing your fast times :D

WRS has been around for over 2 years, amazed you never found it before.

Have fun mate!

Hey guys, I'm new also...
Name's Chris I'm 28 and live in Michigan, US..

I drive an incredibly slow car in real life so thats probably why im in division 3
Hope to better my times and kick some of your butts!!! :D
Anyway seems like a fun comp, with some interesting people.. see ya on the track suckas!!! :)
And here's me.... a not so great pic from Arizona back in the spring

Here's a couple pics of my turd....
Unfortunatly for me this is the only kind of track my car ever sees, funny thing is its setup more for turning than launching and just goin straight....oh well....

Hello.
My name is Mark. I am 21 and live in Austin, TX.

I have been a long time fan of GT and participated in the WRS for a few weeks when it used GT3. I have a bit more time on my hands now so hopefully I can race more.

A little bit about myself...
I am graduating from college in December. My RL car is a 2002 Nissan Maxima. I enjoy lifting weights, driving, and watching TV.

..im from good old yorkshire in the UK and ive just done my first WRS this week - probably settling at the bottom of DIV 3 :)

i produce music & mix music under the name of Adam Rodriguez & Magdelayna and have started up a record label - Yorkshire Records - specialising in Trance/House/Chillout....

hey my name is Andrew, am 21 years old have only started playing the GT series since GT3...

i live in Perth, Western Australia, Australia, am a labourer - in other words i build stuff...

i drive a 1995 EF Ford Falcon Futura (Mauritius Blue), stock engine and driveline (for now), overhauled the old suspension and installed al new springs and shocks aimed at making it more "chuckable" which worked... also fitted 17" alloys too it (CSA Gladiator) - one of which my girlfriend curbed the **** out of when she drove it one day...

started in Div3, promoted to Div 2 after 3 weeks...

sorry for the crappy reso on the pic... taken with my bunky camera phone...

Hi Everybody,

My name is Neil, I'm 28 from Dublin, Ireland.

I've just joined the WRS for week 26 and appear to have been placed in D2, but that mightn't last for long as my time for WRS 26 was poor and I haven't got a formula car yet for WRS 27 :)

I've been playing GT since the first one but never joined any online racing leagues before this.
I've been aiming for all Gold licenses in GT4, still have 3 to go.

I don't have a car myself, but I do have a motorcycle - Honda Hornet 900.
Two wheels are far more fun than 4 anyway...

Hi everyone,my name is Alan, and I come from Zagreb,Croatia.Joined for week 28,placed in division 3.

I am 18,and I work as an car-mehanic in official BMW service for few months now.

I have played every GT game since GT 1.

In real life,I drive an Suzuki Swift 1.3. GTI.

I als sometimes help my friend's dad in his oldtimer garage-currently he is restorating(sp?) an Jaguar E-type

And that is,how they say,is that.

Hi WRS,

My name is Nick, (NickBRed5) I live on the Norfolk/Suffolk border in England UK.

Just joined the WRS in week 28 into Div II which was a nice surprise.

I am married with a 4 year old daughter, who takes up most of my time when not playing GT4, which isn't a lot.

Been playing GT since GT2 but this is the first time I have entered anything to compare myself with anybody else, hence the suprise on qualifying for Div II.

P.S. the Red 5 is the number Nigel Mansell would race with (if you didn't already know).

Wow...we've had some real progress with this particular thread!

Welcome to all those new GTPlanet members who have taken the time to post here and tell us all about yourselves!

Hopefully you'll enjoy GTPlanet.net and stay around for a bit! :D

Look forward to racing with you all...or at least reading more posts from you!

Peace-

I joined about 2 weeks ago but haven't had the time to participate in a race yet :grumpy:

Hopefully that will change soon. :)
I am currently working part time and going to school. I own 2 Jeeps that are built for going very slow off-road, so I do my fast driving in GT4. I don't own a PS2, my friend does, but I have the game and a DFP. I spend a lot of time at his house, so I get to play about 8 hours a week. I just past 50% completion and decided to try the WRS. I think that is all I am going to voluteer for now, but I will answer any questions.

Hi im Sphinx.

Oh no wait....

erm... Magdelayna, that loox like carl in your picture, a dj i know, with the sombrero on, its not is it?

Small world if it is.

And Cyril, i think i remember the Hungary overtake, was it down hill on a straight, one way, then the other with Ayrton or Alain?

Something comes to mind.

I would have been 12 by then, so maybe thats why its foggy.....

Anyway, ive changed the EG recently, so its time i popped back in here and stuck up some pics.

Nice to see so many new faces....

Welcome to GTP!!

Happy racing.
