Anyway, I am quite convinced now that this year is going to be another improvement on last year school wise. Which makes me very happy, because even though I failed last year, I improved massively on the areas of my life I want to be getting good at (music). And this year I'm in Gateway which puts student on work experience, and this could be a major help for my life, because currently they're trying to find me some music production work experience, so working around there would be marvelous. I've already made friends with some people who are in my classes, which is also good. Losing a friend wasn't a good way to start off the school year (even though I've sort of seen it coming), but still. I'm still having fun.
And yes, I'm aware that having fun isn't exactly what your biggest goal should be at school.

In German class, one of the German foreign exchange students comes in to help. It's really cool but I hate it because it exposes how dumb we Americans are. She speaks three languages, including English, and probably better than we do. We've also learned a lot from her about German schooling and now I see why we are so dumb. America needs to step up its game.

Not bad, I could've had a 90+ in tech but I forgot to hand the last part of a small report in.
Got my grades about 5 weeks ago but forgot to post them. Heres where I'm at.
Auto Tech - 76%
3rd Year Math - 81%

Physical Education - 93%
Not too shabby. Especially for literally never doing anything in Auto Tech.

Why does it seem that everyday, the number of random people riding my bus is rapidly increasing. People who I haven't even seen in school. It's ridiculous.

My 3rd year math is integrated into Auto Tech but I get a separate grade for that. The rest are just 1 hour classes that I do 2 periods a week. So I'll have Economics (now pig) for 2 hours a week, and the same for the others while 99% of my schedule is study halls. At noon I go to auto tech until 2:30.

I'm so sick of the band director at my school. I told her I wanted to take classes that would better prepare me for the future, but I still want to do marching band. But she won't let me do marching band and quit concert band. I don't know why she is so stubborn on this. I am a percussionist, and I annoy the crap out of her because I and all of the other stereotypical percussionists are lazy and she hates it. So what good will it be keeping me there when I don't for anything?

I'm in the orchestra in my school, but isn't concert band a necessity for marching band? You need to crawl before you walk...
anyways, I have a serious [first world] problem. I'm going to present a rose to my crush, but I have several tangled problems:
-I got her a christmas present last year and she was very excited. However, a week later, she has become a little... distant.
-Was it because I embarrassed her last christmas...?
-I'm not sure if her parents allow her to accept things from guys.
-I'm worried about her reaction, negative or positive.
-What kind of valentine's day cards should I pair with the rose?
-Are valentine's day cards cheesy?
-But what should I say? I don't want to lecture her about how I love her, but I don't want to be ambiguous.
I know, this sounds very pathetic. But tomorrow has never been a better day, so why not?
