High School

I would never use physical force on someone (unless they are using physical force on a friend). Numerous times, I have silenced the whole lunch area when someone says something to me and I come back with an extremely witty reply.

Ever had some random guy in school come up to you and ask if you have a girlfriend? It's happened to me several times these past few weeks. My usual responses were:

"Yeah I have 3"
"Only on Thursdays"
"Worry about yourself"

Whenever someone asks me one of these stupid questions, i'm going to give it a stupid answer lol

Because that would certainly make you seem less dangerous and questionable, right?

The more you react to things emotionally, the more people wonder why it matters to you so.

What does this have to do with me seeming less dangerous? It was about someone spreading a rumor. Personally I don't care how dangerous I seem to be.

I might not react that way, maybe let them off on a warning but really it depends on the situation.

Think about it. Someone erroneously claims you're a sex offender. You decide to give him the ol' one-two. Somehow that seems to be a bit of an overreaction. Don't you think people would be suspicious if your response to a stupid rumour was to beat someone up? That's without getting into how you'd be on record as violent and possibly facing assault charges. So, at the end of it all, everyone still believes the rumour because of how extremely you react to it, and you're on record as violent at school and perhaps going to court for assault. You don't get anywhere by beating people up. People are going to snicker and spread rumours about you your whole life. If you don't learn how to deal with it and ignore them without wanting to hit someone you're going to have a bad time.

I got it with a belt, tree branch, thick long sppon, I turned out fine.

That's the parents fault for going overboard. 3-4 hard slaps on the ass will set them straight. I was always fine.

That being said, seems like it's a bit of a learned behaviour. Violence begets violence.

Generally the concern when someone spreads rumors about a supposed sex offender is if that supposed sex offender is dangerous. Society labels people like that as dangerous for a reason.

Appearing dangerous is a great way to not go ANYWHERE in life. Unless crime is your thing.

The best way to react to something like this is humor, not intimidation. I know being a tough guy seems appealing at that age, but it doesn't really help anything. Not to mention how quickly it can backfire when the person you threaten to beat up is actually capable of laying you out - being bigger than someone doesn't mean you could prevail.

^^^^It's all a mind game when it comes to beating someone up.

@Noob616

I did turn out fine. Everyone gets violent sometimes however.

No. Just not. Just wait till you get into a fight with some guy that is 5'6 and a former Marine, or the skinny guy that spent 10 years in martial arts. Or that hipster that use to work on a factory floor and studied martial arts for a bit, has a history of dealing with drunks, and so on.

Honestly, you don't understand how profoundly ignorant you sound at the moment.

No. In fact, the people could probably kick your ass the hardest are often the most self controlled. Hell, I've been hit in the face (hard) and the look I gave the person was enough that they apologized and backed down. I didn't even make a fist.

I would say that's not a call you get to make for yourself.

And really? I've never been in a fight and I haven't had any issues with people. Self confidence, and ignoring people who are antagonizing you goes a long way. It really isn't rocket science.

Same. I don't rub people up the wrong way (inb4 jokes) and if someone starts on me, I talk my way out of trouble. Not so much self-confidence for me, but just ignoring things or people who don't matter really isn't that hard.

Violence and anger are unnecessary and won't solve much.

How are you doing that on a school computer?

Downloaded it and ran the program and teacher didn't care.

Oh and we have like the best computers in the state. Windows 7 Dell computers.

Live for Speed has beautiful graphics? First time I've heard that.

Live For Speed has the best physics of any simulator I've played to this day.

Graphics look nice, well, with major detail overhaul mods

I will say, in all honesty, thta for the most part I try to work things out with the person and avoid fightint when I can but if the are just going on and on and never end it then I usually want to pop them one in the face.

Some kid at tech today tipped a toolbox filled with tools over today. Broke some of the drawers to. To top it off it's an expensive Snap On toolbox.

Yeah but if he took it a while ago I doubt he still has the results. I'd toss it the day I got it after I looked at it honestly.

I don't wanna be that guy... But I kinda want proof. Congrats if you did but its pretty uncommon to score in the 30s and 34 and above is genius.

On the contrary, my friend Henry got a 36 out of 36 so it is not that uncommon.

Unfortunately, I do not have the score sheet with me. You may have to take my word for it, or you don't have to believe me. Your choice :P
