High School

I think I may have lost some hope in humanity... some girl in my world history class thought London was in France. :banghead:

That's not that bad. One girl at my old school couldn't find Russia or China on a map...

On another note, our school just got beaten by another school on our campus in football... I think the score was 35-24 or something along those lines.

That person can't have been serious...

Anyway, had a robotics competition today, it was supposed to be for the about 15 new people to come and see what we do, but 5 people from last year came, and 2 new people came. Plus the most of the day was spent fixing the robot.
However, we got it working at the end and it was still a lot of fun

Instead of editing an old message to delete it I accidentally quoted it. Disregard this.

Edit:
Eh, I made a post, might as well use it. In short, the kids at my school suck. Everyone's started smoking weed now. They all think it won't hurt them and it makes me mad. No one at my school cares about their futures, they just want to be thugs. Pretty much half the football team is gone because they all fail all of their classes. What is wrong with today's youth, seriously.

And as life would have it, I miss school.

I really don't like to admit that. At all.

I haven't graduated or anything yet, but I do end up missing school during summer vacation. I too think it's what phillkillv2 said, missing the times with your friends and all.

It's funny though:

In school: "Ugh i can't until summer break!" (or any vacation from school)
Out of school for a while: "I miss school."
^That's how it is for me, anyways. :indiff:

I'm starting drivers education this week, but its going to really screw up my schedule... some nights I'm not going to get home until 9pm, due to also having soccer practice on the same nights as me driving... this schedule won't last long, though, because soccer ends in 2 weeks, and drivers ed. Ends in 3 weeks.

Can't wait to start legally driving! :D

You're sure going to be quite busy with your schedule until intensive soccer practice comes to an end in 2 weeks which is overlapping with lessons about how to drive a car at a driving school...

Getting in on driving a vehicle practically is not going to be an easy thing at the very first, but once you finally get a driver's license at the end of the course it gives you tons of pleasure to be able to sit at the controls of your car at all cost. :)

Good luck with your driver's education!

No school for the rest of the week due to some state mandated thing

Lucky.

So I had readistep testing today. It was pretty boring. Luckily I ended up skipping my 3rd period class (which i hate) Tonight I'm just going to get my homework done and play some GT. Haven't played in forever and I've been missing it. But that's what school does to you I guess. :/

My physics teacher actually did something halfway decent for us today. He left during class to get us some Chick-Fil-A. Sure, it was one of their trays that we all had to share, but that was the only decent thing he has ever done for any of his classes.

Thats not just decent, thats godly.

I had an English teacher who would randomly takers to lunch somewhere or take orders from us and then go and get whatever we wanted for nothin. Really is a great guy.

Now my physics teacher bought us pizza for lunch today. I have no idea what he is thinking, because there is no way I'm doing anymore work for his class.

Ha, I feel the same. Hated the place, it felt it never would end. But as my parents said "It'll be over before you know it" How true that was.

We are talking about the psat that helps colleges give you scholarships and as was explained to me is sort of like a mini act. Well for me it will count because 2 of the 3 schools i am going to attend for college require it. Yes that is not a typo. I am goong to be a either pediatric surgeon or just a general surgeon. 10-13 years of college. YIPEEE!!!!!

Took the SAT in 8th grade (not in school), I scored in the 50th percentile (average). Can't remember my actual score, but it was fairly easy. It's just long and tedious, really. I took the PSAT last week (in school), and it was a breeze. You'll do fine. 👍
