High School

I took the ACT when I was a high school Junior. It took about the same time, but it happened over two days because we split it during the school week. Freshmen and Seniors got two days off, but Sophomores and Juniors had to attend due to testing. It really wasn't that bad.

2nd semester started today for me.

I still don't arrive at school until 11 AM unless I feel like being early. Now, I have Calculus 3rd period and Physics 4th period, which right now just feels like a review from Chemistry; I despise Chemistry- scratch that, science in general. I miss my art classes.

I bet those are no fun.
We usually get updates on policy - from our faculties, the school and the Department of Education - time to go through all of the administrative stuff that we need (like updating rolls) and generally oil the wheels that need to start the great engine turning over. I wouldn't call it fun, but the time does fly.

Plus, I finally get my own room this year; the school has been renovating since I joined, so we had to move around a lot (last year, I had 28 lessons in a week on 25 different rooms). But they're all done now, so I get to set my room up the way I like it.

High School fights- do you watch/film (via cellphone) or walk by like nothing is happening?
I just show up and it disperses. But I'm nearly two metres tall, almost as wide a doorway, have the power of issuing detentions and a reputation for zero tolerance on 🤬.

Yeah cause these 2 girls got in a fight today right before the first lunch and they got a 5 day suspension which is crazy cause this is the week of midterms and we have half days the whole week

Well, that depends on the school policy. If it came to blows, I would refer them to the deputy, but my presence is usually enough to deter anyone from taking it further.

I find school fights a waste of time. I don't see the point of watching 2 people purposesly hurting each other out of anger and hatred, and most of these "stories' behind the fights aren't even worth it despite being real (you know, because real things are meant to be surperior to things that aren't ). Real life fighting is far more boring than Competitive Fighting and Storytelling Fighting IMO.

Where I've gone, I've never even really seen this kind of thing happen anyway.

Two girls got in a fight in the morning last week infringing of my locker and once the first punch was thrown they fell to the ground and on my foot, but that didn't stop them and then the royal circle formed and teachers were blocked from getting in so they had to push kids and some phones get pushed to the ground  Then after that they pulled each other's hair and then both of our vice principals came. First one yells at them to break it up and then he grab one of them and some hair fell on the ground. He pins her to the wall and tells her to calm down in his yelling voice. Our second vice principal is telling everyone to go away but I could stay since my locker was there :P It took teachers two minutes to get there since one teacher was watching and asked what was going on but no one said anything. Then they found out. I just stood there and had the view of a life time. :P

On another hand, our rival school district got a bomb threat at the high schools. So they got to leave early. But everyone got checked before leaving  Turns out the bomb threat came all the way from California XD

So really, you like it for the attention it brings?

partly but the thrill of the fight is good too
For me, getting thrills from fights need to have context. Seeing a bunch of teenagers trying to inflict as much pain as possible is not what I would call context, and I even find it stupid that there is this unwritten school rules on fights which really contradicts how School Fights can appeal to people.
