High School

Well today I decided to be a lazy idiot and forget to read my book. Tomorrow I have to read a 200 page book for English. My teacher gave me the wrong summer book list -_-. Anyone here read a separate peace before?

The Schools seem to make tons of "Mistakes" today, and it seems to be down to lack of communication between Admin and the Student.

Actually it seems like schools now think using windows XP is the best way. Honestly my school bought $60,000 worth of computers and as you expected they're running software that's 10 years old. Those are the mistakes

My school is using Windows 7 illegally.
They bought one copy and put it on every computer in the town.

That has nothing to do with what I'm talking about. I doubt that Admin making mistakes on class placement is down to which OS they are running.

Well if they're still be using XP, they're pretty much making mistakes on your schedule

Anyways I get about 4 days off this month+ weekends. Anyone have the same? Ooh and I learned never argue with your history teacher about bubble tea and a mango misto. Spent a whole hour arguing about which was better.

My school uses XP on all but a set of laptops that have Vista, and the teacher's laptops that have 7. We don't have problems.

Does anyone else have a jazz band at their school?

We do too, and we win gold every year at music festivals that we attend to. I play 1st Sax and am the leading soloist. Thats because no one else has the guts/ knows how to improv well

I started school a week ago, and have a pretty chill semester. Computer Engineering, Technical Design, Chemistry and Maths. Anyone else have an easy semester?

We have a homecoming dance, but 95% of the school chooses not to go. At least this year we aren't playing our most-likely-to-beat-us team for it.

Nothing wrong with XP. I'm still using it at home!

Although this year my school has updated to Windows 7, and I have no idea how to use it. I feel like a caveman in an Apple store.

First week back at school... isn't looking pretty. They sent multiple people home because they were wearing pumps (I can see this rule being abused) and a girl got sent home because she had orange hair, so basically they're now sending home ginger people  It was obviously dyed but still a natural colour... sort of.
Also got an A on my English Lit which my teacher said I'd barely scrape a C in XD I wrote far less than anyone else (because of small writing) most people wrote about 4-6pages I wrote 2 and a half

Had three of my classes upgraded to Honors. US History (Back up to Honors actually), Algebra 2, and Chemistry. Can't wait, they all seem like great classes. :D

Um, not sure how you'd describe them. Sneakers maybe? Basically canvas shoes, like Converse but without the high tops; if that makes sense.

I wear them but just not at school, because they make you look like an imbecile. Smart is the way to go.

I see, so something like these?

Hmm...
That'd be the Hyundai Sonata. Definitely stylish, and is rising in popularity amongst its competitors. An increasingly common sight around campus. :P

Cool, the best part of them is walking into a room early in the morning and having everybody waking up instantly.

Meanwhile, my shoes are the Kia Optima. Stylish, relatively uncommon, and gets a nice amount of compliments (2 today, 1 yesterday, have had the shoes for 2 days). :dopey:
