I take french and I hate it. Takes me 15 minutes (atleast) to do one worksheet. I just finish 2 worksheets (about 35 min). Ughhhh.

Haha you're lucky. It took me a whole hour to do 2 pages of Japanese homework. I hate カタカナ

Lucky! I would give anything for a Japanese class at my school.

Haha it's not as easy as you think. Although the class is fun.. Ever squirted a whole bottle of lotion on the teachers chair?

I remember back in 7th grade my math teacher was Japanese and we were discussing an upcoming math competition. In her HEAVY Japanese accent: "This will be difficult for you guys, (insert town name here) has LOTS of asian kids. But no, you can't lose, you have Japanese teacher!!!"

It's so funny hearing my parents speak English, been here in the us for 14 years and their English is still... Err. Asian like

Sports Medicine? Is that basically taking care of injured players, or what?

It's a career-based class where you look at Physical Therapy, Athletic Training, and Doctors specializing in Orthopedics.

But yeah, you sign up to help out the doctors at games (Stand on the sidelines, wrap people in tape) and you get an extra class worth of credit on your transcript.

Huh. That's pretty neat.

I'd post something about what's going on in highschool, but I can't, because I'm on fall recess. I assume this must either be a thing that the highschools in the district do, because I've never had it before. But whatever the reason, I'm enjoying this "fall recess" of theirs. :dopey:

So, after my year in Germany, I decided to take a German class at the high school to see where my German was.

Over German 103 level, evidently. Didn't think a year would net me college level stuff.

So I'm not the only one on a form of school break. I've got the next two weeks before another 3 weeks at school followed by exams (unfortunately I have about 3 or 4 exams that spread right across from the first exams right till the last... Last year I had 2 that were on the first and third day of exams).

Well I'm slightly peeved off at the minute. A guy in my year has somehow got it into his head that I have got a girl he fancies to hate him. I'll give a quick back story:
Said girl is my friends little sister (two years), she added me after I posted a picture of my friend with his bass guitar and being a nice person I started a conversation with her, well it's been a month and so far we've spoken everyday, we seem to get on very well. However said guy in my year found out I was talking to her and that I'd said she was 'pretty and like a female version of me' (by female version of me I mean she has my mindset and my humour). Since then he's been constantly saying he wants to 'rip my face off' although he can't muster the gonads to say anything to my face

Btw this isn't everything, I haven't even added the fact he's asked her out about 10 times and she's told him to **** off every single time.... well I've added it now.

I will start my post by saying I have something bad to say and something even worse.

The Bad; I came into my Graphic Arts class expecting to finish the memo pad designs we were working on. Five minutes into the class I found out the school's network is down which means I cannot log into any computer and I cannot access my drive without being connected to the Internet. I was angry because that is my favorite class and we did nothing. I found out during my fourth block class that the internet was working again.:ouch:

The really Bad; I know this girl which I really made her start falling for me last year even though I never asked her out. I mean she was really pretty but there was too many guys hanging out with her and she still had feelings for her ex. She trusted me a lot but now I might have screwed everything including our friendship. I hang out with these other girls in the only class that I'm with her. I never go to her locker, I pretty much stay away from her besides saying "hi" to her everyday. I know I got her confused but I'm not sure how to get out.

Friend zoned.

Today went well. Algebra went by pretty fast, we watched a movie in psychology class (Genie is the name of it), bio was ok. (apparently the girl I like is 1 year older than me :( I did proficient in orchestra (don't really care about my ex in there anymore, thought it would be worse, but nope) overall it was good

Yesterday and today were pretty crazy. I'm not sure if any other school outside of the US does this as well, but we have this week called Spirit Week where each day you are allowed to dress as whatever the day is as long as the Dress Code is not infringed. So yesterday was Rollback Thursday so you get to dress up in another era. Mostly everybody I spotted however wore something from the 70s, including bead necklaces to "groovy" shirts. And today was School Spirit Friday where you just show off school spirit (our colors were Red & Black). This day however was the craziest one, since I witnessed a lot of people wearing togas (majority of the men dressed without shirts or pants) and a sort of a party in the cafeteria during lunch (I was not in there though. I do know though that it was pretty crazy). Aside from that, there were plenty who had paint on their faces similar to their usage in football games as well as the basics like red shirt, black(ish) pants, or vice versa. On the same day was a Pep Rally, but it was disappointing that it was planned poorly and lasted only 15 minutes. Unfortunately I did not dress up at all because I couldn't find the time to buy or make such clothes. But I can try again next year.

From what happened this week showed me how very spirited the students are, especially the ones in the program I am in (in fact the magnet students were the most spirited). Hopefully I'm able to shed some of that and perhaps create some truly tearful memories here -- if I don't let the massive amount of homework kill me off till that time :)

Had a monster cookout in Auto Tech today. Had over 40 hot dogs and 32 hamburgers, 16 bottles of pop, chips/cheese puffs etc. Ate 5 hot dogs, a burger, a plate full of cheese puffs, and 6 glasses of pop. I was stupid full after XD. And to top that off there was leftovers XD

Our spirit week is this coming week, We'll see if the new assistant principal lets us blow the dress code all to hell like we normally do.

Had an Impromptu sing-along of "Good Time" in Sports Medicine. It started this way

Teacher: "So Tallman(me), where do you and Sydney want to work next week?"
Sydney: "It doesnt matter where, It's always a good time"
Me: "We dont even have to try..."

From there we all sang (Much to the teachers enjoyment) for about the next minute and a half.
I legitimately felt like I was in a Musical.

In English
"Ok, so when you're done with the test, theres a dozen donuts on the counter"
And everyone blew through as quickly as possible. Get up there, and theres a note "Are you sure you should have gone that fast?" and a box full of donut holes. We all opted to continue our test..

I'm surprised I didn't get in trouble for ****ing around in Bilogy today. Me and my friend were messing around almost the entire time we were doing a lab. :P Was pretty damn funny though, made my day.
