Congrats!!! I hope all is going well.

As for push chairs: Bugaboo. Yes a bit more expensive. But secondhand they are doable. These are so well thought and designed. Really clever.

For example: foam tyres instead of inflatable tyres. And yes, I had two punctures on our former pushcar. Due too the smallish wheel size, it is not a joy to repair.

That's what my missus has settled on, Bugaboo Cameleon. It is pretty good, any pushchair with independent suspension has to be cool right?? :)

Pimp my Pushchair?

Ok, Week 33 Update!

http://www.pregnancyguideonline.com/wk33.htm

So, another week rolled by.
What have we been up too? Well as seen earlier this week I have shelled out some cash on a carrycot/moses basket. This Basket attaches to the Quinny frame as pictured above, it will make our trips down to Farnborough more managable once MiniMike has arrived.

The Nursery was also completed, and after carrying out a thorough inventory of all our baby related stock we have realised we now have everything we need, ready, for our baby girl. I find this a weight of my mind and both MrsMad and I can breath a sigh of relief....for now.

MrsMad finishes work on Friday, I must admit this scares me slightly. We won't see any difference in our income until May, which means I need to get on with sorting the relevant Benefits, I find this daunting as I have never claimed off the state for anything :nervous:

On the same subject, I plan on throwing a little suprise for MrsMad when she arrives home from work Friday. At her job there is a tradition of decorating peoples desks and having a whip round for people that are leaving (Maternity, retirement, ect) MrsMad feels a little sad because that probably isn't going to happen for her, the ladies that used to do it are all away this week or have since left, the current staff are mostly temps that don't know about this little tradition so it looks unlikely to happen. I feel sad for her as she has been at this job nearly 5 years now.
So my plan is to get a chinese in, put some baloons up and get some party poppers and a handmade card in. I know this sounds tacky but I know the gesture will mean alot to her.

We now officially have a full name for her, I'm not sure whether to announce it now or when she's born, we agreed to keep it secret from family and friends, but I know MrsMad announced it on her Babybump forum.....I will think about it :D

MiniMads movements are now confined, but precise. When she moves she makes my Wife's belly move round which looks weird but cool. She still responds to my voice too, which makes me feel amazing :D

I'm feeling pretty good, and thoroughly enjoying this amazing experience. It makes me think how much more amazing it must be for the woman.

That's all for now folks

Tom
I'll bet it's something snappy, like Tom!

I have been thinking about it, but there is like 5 weeks left until she's here, I think it may be cool to keep it a suprise until then. But I really want to announce it as i'm excited and want to shout it from the top of a mountain
