Sounds like you had fun Sp33. I didn't even know you were going! ;)

Pity about your 'accident' - but at least you managed to blame it on the woman... :D

Good stuff!

And at the risk of invading the Honda thread... Do you think the new WRX looks better in the metal than on paper?

yes it does :)

Instead of reposting, heres my trip to Sydney:

:)

Ha! I love woman drivers and their ability to find ways into making nothing their fault..."Your car was smashed up before I even got here, I clearly remember seeing car parts all over the road as I drove up".

Sounds like a cool trip though, and you got some pretty cool pics, especially of the new CTR. Any interior shots?

No interior shots, although i rest at night knowing that a bright red CTR has my fingerprints all over the inside. lol.

The WRX looks nice, but theres not alot of seperation between the base model and the top spec.

And i didnt need to blame my accident on the women, i was stationary when she hit me!@

It doesn't make your Civic jealous knowing that you're laying in bed thinking of another Civic?! No wonder she was running rough, she's mad at you for putting your hands all over other cars.

Were the cops involved? What'd they say about the accident?

Cops weren't involved. There just wasn't enough damage, and the car looks pretty rough anyway.

My cars running fine now thank you very much. My Teins get delivered in less then 2 weeks :) So my car should be appreciating the wad of cash that i burn whenever he has a tantrum ( such as leaking coolant) And he gets spoiled when hes been good lol.

Hi guys, I'm introducing myself here. I've loved and owned hondas (hybrids) since I could drive. First car was a Frost White '93 Civic DX w/ a 5-speed B18B swap, next up was a Aztec Green Pearl '93 Civic Si w/ a b18c1 (jdm itr internals, 4-1 header + a'pexi WS, del sol tweed seets, SiR-II goodies, poly bushings, traction brace, h&r race springs/kyb struts), then was a silver '89 teg (had some spare d-series parts slapped on, beater car), milano red '94 teg rs (b18c, euro integra front - silver headlights + turn lights on bumper), currently riding a black '95 prelude se (h22a1, slightly lowered, 2.5" exhaust w/ twin loop, 17" falken hanabi's, 1pc black housing, blah blah).

my gt3/4 garage has plenty of "hacked hybrids", ranging from eg/ek's with spoon/h22 swaps to awd drift machines that shouldn't exist lol.

Sounds like a nice line of cars you've driven. Any pics of them or do we have to use our imagination?!

I just finished my auto to manual swap on my 92 civic. Its so much more fun to drive! :)

How long did it take you? And do you have any of the pics of the project's progress throughout? I feel like doing the same thing to my Camaro.

Here's my last shoot before Winter mode sets in on my car. :( Winter = poo!

Oh, and here's a photo from my Dyno day. :)

Awesome pics and car, although the rc starks make the tires look big with that black lip.

Still though, awesome.

And yes, winter = poo. My winter 14's and tires suck. Embarrasing to drive. At least you can just slap a set of all seasons on one set of your many wheels.

EDIT: Is the rear of your hood like that for cooling or does the k24 not fit completely?

Toyomatt, i envy your weather. Such clear skies.. I hate smog..

It took me about 1.5 days. All together about 16 hours. Dropping the auto and doing the pedals was the hardest part, but it was definitely worth every penny and second of time it took to do.

I'll try to take some shots of my car for you guys soon. It's come a long way since i first bought it and i think it looks great.. But it still has a ways to go.

:)

1st pic = Pure awesome. Thanks for the new wallpaper! 👍

Here's a better resolution:

The lips are actually purple metallic. ;) And, I love the bigger tire look. :) I slapped my winter tires on my RS-Betas today, and man... I already miss 215's. :( 195's are too dang narrow. Great for snow, but look like crap. :(

And, my hood has the "JDM spacers" because the hood won't clear the Power Steering Pump (even with the cutting you can see on the dyno picture). :( Not to worry, the RSX-S power steering pump has a smaller diameter pulley, and shorter mounting posts. I'll be swapping out my TSX air compressor for the RSX-S model as well, so I get a/c back. :) So, I will be able to completely close my hood. Although, I've actually noticed a fair amount of cooling coming from the hood props. I did actually test the theory, with my D17. I did lose about 25-30 degrees consistently on the engine bay temps.

You need a lip kit. 👍

No I don't.

I know you don't care and I'm not trying to be mean, but those wheels look absurd. Haha. Cool pics, though.

Spectacular! Now, why did you post that? Absurd or not, they're worth 4 times what I paid for them, which is probably irrelevant to you as it stands to reason that you probably won't see a set in real life. (I just figured I'd return with just as useless a comment. ;))

What'd you spin?

I stated this already a while back. 176whp / 166 lb/ft torque with a smaller than stock throttle body and smaller than stock exhaust system (both used for the sake of getting the car running).
