you got any smash shots?

Tell me about ramps on wheels too, ive seen a fair few crash pictures of heaps of diff model civics and then all have the other cars wheel on the bonnet.

Ever seen an earlier Honda after its gone face first into the back of a Transport truck? I was coming home from school one day and was "lucky" (sarcasim) enough to catch a glimps of the car after they had pulled it out from underneath of it, but before they had covered it. Lets just say the driver was still in the drivers position, but was getting a pretty good view of the back seat. Those crash bumpers aren't low enough to hit our engines. :nervous:

I hated the new Civic hatchback Si (SiR here in Canada). Sure they pushed 160hp, but out of a 2.0 (I think?), compared to the B16 that came in the '99 Civic Si/SiR Coupe, the new 200hp Civic Si Coupe is a welcome change for me. Still not sure what to think of the dash though (is that radio built into the dash? :yuck: )

I prefer the hatchback looks at the moment.

Do Honda sell more civic sedans than hatchbacks in the US?

Sedans and Coupes, atleast in my area. I hardly ever see the hatchback on the streets, although i'm in Southern Ontario, Canada, so I can't speak for the rest of the country or the US.

Are you expecting me to buy a car for 120$ ??? I have money in my bank account for the car. :)

Don't forget about the bank. They're willing to hand out loans to anyone now a days. 👍

Oh dear. hmm. Ill stay away from those things then... Or put a bull-bar on the front.

This week when I was coming back from shopping, I was behind one and realized at a red light that my hood would fit under the bumper, and with it being winter here, and with the inability to stop when you want too, I switched lanes as soon as I could. :nervous:

The image of seeing that car with the drivers head hanging on by a thread over the back of the seat haunts me. At first I thought it was my buddy, since the car looked exactly the same, which might be partly why I remember it so vividly, I basically ran home to call him to make sure it wasn't.

Anyone else heard of any horror stories involving larger trucks or any other type of vehicle in a collision with a smaller Honda/Acura? Or any other small vehicle for that matter...

I reckon the prelude, ive seen magazines which do road tests, and one was the celica, prelue combo, the prelude was much more 'driver appealing' apparently.

It also looks sooper fab-better. and the fact that celicas are ugly hair dressers cars.

totally un biased opinions there....

Seriously tho, Integra's are rare as over here in Adelaide the last one that came up (the one i just missed out on) was neally a month ago now. Uggh, that car shoulda been mine. Prelude's are looking good at the moment as they're much more common and they look all right considering they are from the late 80's. I wanna steer clear from a civic as I'll be taking friends places and a civic would struggle with 5 people in the car...

Thats bad that theres not enough Integra's in Aussy. Well, it depends clearly of your tastes. You choose what you want :)

But I would definitly go for an Integra, looks better. :)

Preludes can take 4 comfortably, with 5 it is a bit squashed, but hey we're young we can put up with it.

I wish I had just a bit more money so I could get a VTEC model. Though the Integra (B18a) and the Prelude (K20?) are both on similar power figures, just over 100Kw so that is enough to zip around in, however the Prelude has more torque.

I thought there was only 4 seatbelts.. and the seats where shaped for four... *shrug*, oh well.. XD the fifth person can sit on the armrest.

The 4ws models are nice.. you looking for a 91-93 shape or the 89 lookin one? SRV2SLO4ME has one thats real nice something like that?

Prelude has H-series engines. The B20 is a Honda CRV engine. :ouch:

I could imagine this guy would put to full use a change of pants after this:

Even if he did manage to pull up in time.. imagine the chips in the paint from the loose stones.

Poor Integra. She didnt had the time to live. Her body as been tortured by stones... AND LOOK, theres Rota Slipstream wheels on it. :(

This guy should be beat up in my opinion.

Yea 4ws is one of the good points for the prelude. And I am looking at the older 89 shape one, ive only got 6 grand saved up at the moment

Edit: This one is looking good

Thats what my budget was when i was buying my car. I love that model prelude too. I seriously considered one, but thought that it wouldnt be so great carting mass friends around ( lol.. kinda the reason why your buying it) its also more expensive then a civic to ensure, being a coupé and everything. Performance wasnt realy something that bothered me though, i just love the look of it.

What wrong with an integra going on the slipery stuff? I'd love to slide one around...

MV you are very VERY WRONG. The B20 IS NOT just a crv engine. It DID come in the late 80s prelude. The K20 is a much newer engine. Look stuff up before you talk.

umm... its just a pic of the rear of a red integra. you cant see the driver at all either. I can see a white wall in front of the car but it looks far away.
