IntegraRulesHead.jpg

The cars, when broken in and modified to Specs, should have 295 Horsepower, and 503 Performance Points. All adjustable settings (Suspension, Differential, Downforce, Ballast) are allowed to be freely adjusted to your liking. The following is what you will need to compete in this series:

-Honda Integra Type R '04 (P) - From the Honda dealership.
-Oil Change
-Full Race Modification - Purchase this before buying any other parts.
-Chassis Reinforcement
-ECU Tuning
-Sports Intake Manifold
-Racing Air Filter
-Sports Exhaust Manifold
-Catalytic Converter: Sports
-Adjustable LSD
-Racing Hard tires

Oil Changes, Engine Rebuilds, and Chassis Maintenance are allowed as many times as you like throughout the season.

Racing Rules:

-All OLR rules are to apply here.
-Slight rubbing is allowed, but intentionally spinning out another racer is strictly forbidden. In the event that this happens, Time penalties may be assessed, and Grid penalties for the next race you enter may be assessed, or you may be excluded from the race results. depending on the situation the incident occurred in. Repeat offenders risk being disqualified from the championship.
-Accident's happen. If you make a mistake which causes another racer in front of you to spin out, you must wait for them to rejoin the track, and allow them to overtake you before returning to race speed. Failure to do so in a time penalty set so that you finish behind the victim.
-If you are caught up in a wreck that happened in front of you, unfortunately, there is nothing we can do for you. EXCEPTION: If somebody involved in an accident rejoins the track without regard for the position of others, and causes somebody to hit them, then they are subject to the same penalties as above, depending on intent.
-Damage will be set to light to help prevent an accident from ruining somebody's race.
-At least one pit-stop is required a race. This is just on there to be official, because there is really no way you'll be able to go an entire race on one set of tires and be fast.

Qualifying rules:

2 Lap Live Exhibition Qualifying

Our qualifying procedure is simple. We have two days of qualifying before the race on Sunday for a full weekend GP. This is in order to give all the drivers interested in racing lots of time to set their fastest laps in a controlled environment. Drivers only have one attempt at setting their fastest lap so choose the time you qualify carefully. Any laps or sessions disrupted by disconnections or network failures will not be counted what so ever. Even if you just crossed the line on your second flying lap. Those who's sessions were disrupted in any way will have a second chance at qualifying.

Procedure: A steward will open an official qualifying room.
When the qualifying room is ready to start a session we will let one or two (depending on room size) chosen drivers go out one at a time (to give each other room). When the qualifying session begins on track, one driver will be chosen to start their out lap first and the second driver will be told to hold on the line for 20 seconds until they can start.

All other visitors in the room will be watching the driver(s) to make sure their laps are clean.
The room will be set to a 4 lap race. Only laps 2 and 3 will count as qualifying "flying lap" times.
The driver's fastest lap will set their qualification.

Friday qualification will be floating format. You can qualify any time of that day by requesting a steward to observe your run.
We will set a group time as usual but drivers qualifying on Friday can also, at any time, be observed by an approved race steward to set their qualifying time. Again, you can qualify at any time on Fridays as long as you PM or other-wise message a race steward to observe your laps. Requesting to be qualified can be simply done by messaging a steward. The steward will then set up a room for you to join with all the correct reg's and settings. You will do a race of 4 laps where laps 2 and 3 count as your official qualifying laps.

Saturday will also be floating format yet with a deadline.
The deadline will be at the end of the scheduled qualifying session set on Saturday. No more qualifying can be submitted after the official live qualifying session is ended.

If you look at the race schedule you will see that the qualifying room for last minute quali. will be open from 6pm EST to 8pm EST.
That will mean there is an 8pm EST qualifying cut off deadline. Any drivers that make it into the room before 8pm EST will get qualified.
So if you join the room and there's still people qualifying at 8:00 you will be allowed to run after the deadline since all you're required to do is be in the room before the specified time.
There will only be a 5 minute grace period for registered drivers coming in at the last second. After that, absolutely no more entrants may be accepted.

It's set up to be flexible to give the option to people with different schedules to qualify whenever they can yet the deadline is imposed so that if you do have time you can practice till the last minute to set your best time.

Any racing steward can note the time and post the official ranking in the thread.

Gridding procedure:

We're taking a simple approach to making sure our race is gridded up properly according to recorded qualifying rankings.

We all line up on a chosen straight of the track in order of our qualifying position.
We set the room to grid drivers according to the "fastest first" option.
If we start the race where everyone is parked in line in qualifying order it will put us in that order for the race start.

I might join, but I'm going to wait and see what my schedule is in a couple weeks before I sign up. I'll either be preparing for school or preparing for GT Academy at Silverstone in the next month, so my future is a bit up in the air right now.

I'll let you know. ;)

Yeah, no rush. I guess figuring out when to actually start this might help you, too.

Can we vote for Race #3 yet? I vote Trial Mountain. That track is never in any series. Love it... But I'm out of town March 26th, so hope there's no race then... Start April 2nd, please?

I already have the track for race 3, I just need to name it.

And April 2nd will probably be the earliest date we start, not including practice races and tire tests.

You guys are good.

Ah hell I'll sign up just in case, although if this is going to run at the same time as Spec Miata, I'll have to back out. (unless you can work the times around so they don't overlap)

I have an Integra, but it's not RM'd yet. I'll do that tomorrow and then give you all my info.

I've made it clear since I made the interest thread that I want to interfere with Spec Miata as little as I can. 👍

We'll have to talk about times sometime soon.

Yes man, nice selection. I'll need to know what exact times the races are going to be held because I work on the weekends in the evening but until then I'll give you my preferred information.

Okay, here's what I think I'll do.

For now on, people signing up should post the times they should be available on Saturday, to help me finalize times.

Also, Wardez, would it be possible to help out as a Steward if you can do this?

I think what should be done is have qualifying back-to-back with the Miata Spec series. So like if the Miata qualification is at 5pm to 6pm, his series can have it from 6pm to 7pm. Then races will be at the same time as the Miata series except on Saturday. So like if the Miata race is at 7pm EST on Sunday, the Integra races will be 24 hours before, get it? It would probably make things easier right?

But I just realised that qualifying on Friday's are floating qualifying times so.... I donno, its up to Mule, just my suggestion.

By the way, why are we all up so late.... or early?

Yeah of course. I'll help if it's wanted.

I'm available up to 5pm EST on Saturdays

Makes sense, good stuff Ice. omg we're such junkies xD

And I'm up 'cause I just got back from work. Yourself?

Starting races around 3 PM Saturday works for me. Perhaps we could have Saturday qualifying at 1, then after that have a practice session until the race starts.

Im ok with the race being at 3 pm EST... the times we are talking about are EST right? Although I am starting a new job soon so I don't know if I can make races that early, evening times would probably work better.

I'm up because my gf spent the night over and I had to drive her back home so she could get ready for school.

I would like to participate, as stated in the other thread, but will not return from travel until the end of April.

Are Qualifying 1 and Qualifying 2 simply two different sessions where you have a chance to register your qualy time, or are they going to be progressive like F1 does it? I only ask because I can make Q1 no problem, but Q2 may conflict with the LMP/Group C series I currently race in.

Yep. And on Friday, you can basically qualify whenever you want, provided you contact me or Wardez, and we're on.

Also, I've edited in the Qualifying and Racing rules in Post #2

EDIT: and the custom track has a name now 👍

Pictures looking sexy! HAHA my cars famous!! One thing I think you should change though, is in the first post, take out the last picture and replace it with the picture of your car that is at the top of the post. Also take out the sign up form from the first post and put it into the drivers posts and take out your own sign up sheet. Then everything will be perfect! Hopefully these banners will attract more people.

You can count me in on this. I was going to run a GT500 series but this sounds like more fun.
