Just found a spare R34 GT-R wing and installed it on...

...an ER34 sedan

Your Cobra is officially finished, Andy. I decided against more tampos as the ones available were too big and it would have looked too cluttered, so it just stayed flat black with a big-ass 9 on the front quarter panels. I just closed it now.

The car is ready for it's first outing at Mexico's Convention next weekend. One less to go (:

Hello from Indonesia! Here's some customs that i did lately

Those are pretty good, I like the Celica with the black steelies 👍

~

Well people, time to finally finally release this to the public.

About six months ago Ahmed started to play with a blog about his customs and eventually he invited me aboard as well, not only featuring my customs but eventually also letting me write about my own cars and of others. Soon enoguh we had a lot of entrys and also a lot of potential invitees, so the project evolved into something a bit bigger.

Hence, I give you Custom Diecast México.

It is essentially a blog about customized 1:64 cars built by us both and also by many of our customizing buddies over here in Mexico that will be introduced and featured in future spreads. We've given it full english text along with spanish so we can show the world over the work of mexican customizers, and of course, GTPlanet is our first step, and here is hoping Lamley will be the second.

I'll have Ahmed come and say something about it later when he wakes up, in the meanwhile please do come and visit, bookmark us, like us on Facebook. There are several cars in there that you people have not seen , and others that have been posted by us here in GTP.

From here on, of course, we will post all the updates in here as well on Facebook. It's slated to be a pretty big showcase in the near future, so please come and see.

I'll like yours if you (and Ahmed) like mine.

Also, if I may make a suggestion, when I switch the browsing category to tags or Etiqueta, I think it would be better to separate contributor names from your other generic search tags like the car makes and what not.

For example, if you did [AHMED], [CANO], [BRUJO], etc... the site should probably list all the names together since it will list everything by alphabetical order.

I'll like you at home, I can't see Facebook here

As for the site format, I'll tell Ahmed, but Iif I remember correctly, the mosaic format is pretty restrictive, so I dunno if it can be done, and since I'm not the administrator per sé of the website, only an "autohorized" account to post and edit my own stuff, I myself can't do anything about it.

Hopefully it is sorted by alphabetical order and doesn't arrange things like a Mac.

And it's authorized.

Yeah, that was a finger boo-boo, I don't suck thaaat much

On other note, we're on trash mode finishing up customs that will participate in the custom contest held at the convention. Today I'm printing wood tampos for an Aries wagon I restored, and Ahmed should be shooting the clear over some 2000GTs we just tampoed (:

Hi everyone! First post, so I figured I'd post my first mod.

Flat black bluebird with some rubber wheels from an old nascar hot wheels. Still need to do detailing to the lights and some interior stuff.. but digging how it looks so far. I recently moved to the UK from the USA and the selection here is much smaller and more costly, hehe. I really love this thread.. it's amazing.

Hey, I've got a flat black Datsun too, albeit with lesser appealing wheels.

Black paintjobs are so played out nowadays.

Wat. I don't recall it. Lol you have so many flat black cars I've frankly don't remember all of them... except the Cobra, of course (: You'll finally be able to see it @ the blog tomorrow morning-afternoon, when we post the cars that will be participating at the convention's custom contest.

So Lamley just posted pics and linked readers to your blog, Canoe.

I'm going to pull off something like that once I establish like 30 or 50 Illustrious models.

Awesome! And as a follow up, we have some winers! My blue 64 Nova wagon gasser won third place in the Wild category against some bad-ass customs, I'm really proud of that one. The gold/panel-paint 55 Chevy gasser won second place in the Mild category, and the blue/red Shelby Toyota 2000GT won third place in the same category.

We'll have pics later on of all the entries. Say something people.

Amazing arsenal of customs Cano. I like the 2000GTs, Superbird, Hako Skyline, Cobra 427 and the Gassers the most. I almost want to buy them from you guys. Just beautiful. :)👍

And congrats on the win with the Nova Gasser as well. 👍

Thanks for all the comments. And Andy, bad pic of the Cobra in the convention. Don't worry, I've already shot a full feature of it. He'll like it, you'll see. I'll also redetail some of the stuff inside. It looks pretty bad ass but there were two other Cobras that severely outclassed it. They didn't look that bad-ass, but they did look like something out of a RLC Edition

Awesome customs there Cano, great website mate:tup: really enjoyed looking through it:)

Did a wheel swap, painted interior and some detailing to the lights & grill on this '56 Chevy today

also stripped the paint on this and changed the wheels, not sure what colour I'm going to paint it yet:confused:

Don't mind the wheels on the Chevy. I would've used size 1 wheels in the back and lowered the ride altogether....kind of like what I did here:

Chevy+1955.jpg

This '55 chevy also originally had size 2 wheels in the back. I didn't like the raked look so I did something about it.

I wanted to let you guys know that I'm currently working on indexing all my customs on my blog and here's a preview of the progress:

Each item will link to its parent post which contains more info and photos of the respective car.

I will also be covering each series as well, but I'm doing all the one-offs first.

Keep it coming AOS-! 👍

Okey I kind of need ya'lls opinion on something. Ya'll probably remember this beat-up GMC Motorhome I posted in the collector's thread right?
2013-08-21-140500_zps5e6301c8.jpg

Well, I don't know if I want to restore to its original condition like this:
1977_9645.jpg

or do a completely different design. What do ya'll think? I can't make up my mind.

Edit: Reuploaded since I no longer need Photobucket.

I'm not aware of any significance of that original look, but personally I'd rather make something else. That always gives it sentimental value. Make it look like it's been through a zombie apocalypse. Dirt, mud, blood, guts, limbs and everything else disgusting. Throw those on, cut the front bumper partially and bend it to make it look like it's breaking off. You can leave the chipped paint as is and add a ton of detailing on top.

Believe me, that is it's original look because there were tiny traces of the vinyl's it used to have, however you can't see them in my poor quality photo.

As for the zombie thing, it is a little too late for that because I already stripped away the paint a week or two ago and now it is just a lonely zamac sitting in my room.

I like how the wheels look on the 56, but it really needs some chrome trim added to it. Put your pulse to work! Also, paint the Chevy in some two tone red/white or blue/white, they look cool that way. I'll do one as soon as it arrives here:

Do a complete redesign, look up for real Motorhome pics and do one in maybe golden or silver with a stripe across the entire body 👍
