This truck was in a junk bin at a flea market of about 100 people. I dont have before pics but trust me this truck had been throught it! It had a caved roof and no rear bump

er. I body worked the roof fit my own custom glass, wheels, lowered it and put an alligator interior in it. I sprayed it with o.e.m 1978 silverado red paint. Look at her now!

im wondering if someone could help me and maybe inbox me a solution or some steps to take. I am very new to the hot wheels customization and i have just finished very basic mods to a dodge hellcat but i want to take my learning a bit further. i would like to paint the entire car but i dont want to loose the hellcat symbol on the side of the car. any ideas of what i can do? if im posting this in the wrong spot i apologize

I'm afraid that you wouldn't be able to save it if you were to paint the whole car. You could probably print some decals off of the internet and put them on the car (you'd have to ask someone else on here, I don't have the best knowledge of that).

Need some help on ways that im able to paint a hot wheel without loosing the symbols or decals on the car. if there is no way to do so please let me know what other people do to achieve this

Im new to this and i can only do minor customizations but want to learn more. Please help
Thanks

Dye jobs are the only way to change the color of a car without stripping the paint. Works best with white or light colored cars though.

Use some liquid masking solution. There are a number of brands out there.

Wheel swap, wet sanded factory metallic down with 2000 then shot with 3 coats of clear, Black "Glass roof" look, and interior annd window tint.

I started this project a few nights ago. It was a '55 bus. As soon as i saw the front end on it i had the perfect idea...a 1955 service truck! So i started cutting. The bus had no chassis. Just seats and windows. I stole a set of wheels from a Freightliner semi i had and went from there. Here it is... complete, with welder.

Altough I would have just restored the bus as it was, the work looks pretty damn good.
I already have one similar to it thats a better brand in better shape, plus ive always wanted to do something like that..(Check out my profile pic). But thanks man, i have a lot of projects lined up. I will be posting quite a bit within the next few days because ill have plenty of time on my hands.

Whats up dude, im a painter and honestly theres nothing u can do unless u want it to look butched. My best advice is to paint it in the color u want then match the hellcat trim (matte black splitter, wheels, and tail light housing) and itll look very close to one... after all it IS one. Its not like ur making a clone.
